i just get a new PS3 for my gf 2 months back. Under-utilizing it, like 3-5 hours of gaming weekly only. Its placed on well ventilated area, clean from dust weekly and never dropped before.

The problem is, now i installed FIFA13 on it, and it freezed occasionally, no fixed time, we can play 3 hours straight without problem, or sometime after 10 minutes. I also noticed before the PS3 go freezed, the screen somehow flashed or come out with few lines like old TV going kaput.

Anyone know what's this symptom is or any problem with the GPU?? Need to send back for warranty??

Ur Fifa 13 DL from SEN store? If yes, there are possibility that ur HDD kaput dy.....

Nope. Its FIFA13 from physical disc. I do not experience freeze when playing other games like final fantasy 13, gran turismo 5, and some PS Move games. Maybe haven't.

guys..got my problem with my 2006 set..everytime i turn on the psp..the system keep loading for certain period until got message no UMD media detected or whatsoever..in order to bypass this i need to open the media slot..

any solution for this..tqsm..

if other games no problem, then it could be ur FIFA 13 disc got problem, check got any marks, scratches or crack on the disc....

i wnt to ask, if i buy ps3 with firmware 3.73, cn i update it to latest firmware? sry for stupid question

Bro i checked. No hairline scratch, not even a particle of visible dust. Just now played for 4 hours staright without any problem. Very weird. I dun expect a 2 months old Ps3 to hav this kinda issue. Anyway, let me constantly monitor on it during this weekend. If it happens to freeze again, i'll ask for further adice here.

Hi Guys, I'm new to PS3. Just grab one few days ago.
I found out that the model i bought is CECH-3003B. After doing the research, know this is a UK model.

1. My question is, does it really matter as it is not CECH-3006B??
2. Will it cause any at PSN?
3. Where (i mean website) i need to register my PS3 and create a PSN account?

Need some clarification pls
I have already used all 16 accounts on my ps3, i know that if i delete an account all the games/dlc downloaded using that account are "deactivated". If i create the account back with the same username will the games be "reactivated"? or do i also need to use the email and password to also login to psn in order to "reactivate" the games?

You will need to go to Account Management and Services (or one of the other options) and Reactivate the account again. So that all your games can play again. This means yeah you need to login to PSN.

guys, i bought another ps3 to replace the old 1, how come my old ctrller cant connect to the new 1? is there any possible way to make it connect?

Connect it with a USB cable first. Press the PS button to pair it. Then in future will automatically connect.
