Ps 3 hardisk are just like the laptop hd or the portable hd. Take out the hd, connect to pc then format using disc managememt. Pick ntfs format. Then put it back into the ps3. Enter ps3 safemode then follow instructiom onscreen. All these steps can be seen in a youtube video

Try pressing the PS button on the controller until the Quit menu opens up. There you can select to switch off the console.

No dude,, my ps3 freeze.. Press any button on controller wont work..
Only way i know was long press the button on console or just turn plug off

This is not known by many people but it's stated on the PS3 manual.

If your PS3 freeze, hold down the power button for 30 seconds & the console will shut down on it's own.

Pullling the plug or turning the mains off will damage your PS3 in the long run.

hi there.. just asking if you guys encounter loading disk problem

for example let say I start the game Uncharted 3.. it started with the black screen and the Drake ring spinning on the right bottom. and it just never progressed to the main menu. i have to restart the game couple of times before i can start to play

Even playing the new FIFA 13, game just show blackscreen after the PS3 Move instruction screen.

is this a hardware issue or something wrong with my setup?

hey peeps...I haven't touched my PS3 in about 6 months and recently start back to play RE6. But the console seems to have problem reading the discs...tried a few other games and its the same. Has anyone serviced their PS3 or replaced the lens before?

May I know what's ISP?

I think one way to improve your NAT is to DMZ your router & PS3.

There's 2 methods in this video: Port Forwarding & DMZ. Just follow the instructions related to DMZ.

NOTE: Pls do not connect other devices when your router in under DMZ. Security reason.
