hi guys just bought a move set and wanna ask the move controller can charge using my pc usb port or not? coz both my ps3 usb port already used for ps eye and my DFGT...

My PS3 is lagging I think. What cause the problem and how do I overcome that? thanks!

I think it's framerate stuttering or I could be wrong.
Battlefield 3 of course, when on loading to the next map, my squadmate already run to the nearest flag while i'm still stuck at the loading screen.
And also some PSN games, like I Am Alive and a demo of walking dead. The game starts lagging really bad.

guys, my PS3 slim do freeze frequently nowadays.. i have to hard reset the ps3 .. never encountered this before, any idea what went wrong?

i did restore DB and file system, still occur..
game that I encountered are FIFA12, BF3

idk it's overheat cause when i touched the ps3 during hang, the hot is normal.. same like 1st day of I bought..

is there any symptom may occurred from hdd ? just need to re-confirm before I straight away buy new hdd.
I already tried rebuild the database, but the problem still happen.. I bought the console on April 2011, SG set.

guys, i've taken out the hdd from ps3, now i connect to the pc via sata cable & sata power
my windows xp didn't recognize the hard disk, any idea how to retrieve all data inside ps3 hard disk?

I have black screen issue when connect direct my ps3 slim  to my monitor samsung s22b350h through sony hdmi cable.

the monitor have vga and hdmi port only, max reso 1920x1080. I try connect the monitor with astro hd using hdmi cable it works fine and the ps3 works fine with my samsung led tv.

I heard about hdcp through findings on the internet, but how to solve this?

hey guys..sometimes (esp when installing game in HDD) my bluray lens make some noise as if scatching sound, is it normal?

my phat ps3 shutsdown by itself, most of the times within minutes of loading Disgaea 4. If it doesn't shut down, then things are fine and dandy - except for this one time when it shut down after an hour or so.

screen blacks out, i think there is a beep and flashing red light. press and hold the power button and it turns itself on and scolds me for not shutting down properly. then it checks the system files and restarts. 4 out of 5 times after that, it is back to normal?

PS3 on its last legs or a hard disk problem?

1. most important , its not CRACK version ( Jailbreak version ) , go for un-modded ps3
2. check all the items that should come with the ps3 set
3. go for latest model , CECH-3000 series  320GB/160GB model are the latest in the market
4. if there is a shop offering like the situation below ( definately a RECON or REFURBISHED set ) , please dont buy !
a) 250GB or 120GB model
b) cech-2500 series and below

1. yes , everytime there is latest firmware , just update it .. cause firmware will improve your system performance , bugs fixed , sometimes sony will add few features to the system , plus its FREE to download

hey guys, just wondering if a console hasnt been used lets say for about 2/3 months time would it have any problem afterward when you want to use it again?

this console has been kept out of dust, heat and all the usual damaging elements, i.e packed/kept nicely la.

ive read b4 (iinm) games purchased under playstation plus only available for as long as the subcription does, is that right?

meaning once the subscription is over everything purchased will not be accessible, no?
