if hdmi port fault , you have to change the motherboard , cause its part of the motherboard .. the cost for it are expensive which you can buy another PS3 console

basically struck by lightning not covered for warranty .. but you can try send the console to the service centre .. anyway is it malaysia set ?

the best to avoid it

1. dont play during rain , because we dont know if there is lightning will struck at any point of time
2. always unplug the main power switch , take off from the wall socket after finish your gaming session
3. use surge protector just incase

for HDMI

1. do not take off HDMI cable when both device still running ( on ) , it will burn the HDMI port , please make sure both device turn off ( unplug main power switch ) , then you are safely can take off the HDMI cable from both device

26th november 2012 sony malaysia will launch PS3 super slim .. there is white and black color , plus sony malaysia also bring in " the ultimate pack " black PS3 super slim bundle with god of war 3 + uncharted 2

try sony style the curve , or sony centre IPC ( ikano )

it take sometimes for the stocks to arrive at their place ... for super slim

currently im using the sony playstation surround sound system ( CECH-ZVS1 ) , so far very okey because my home theater room not that big and not too small ( average ) .. but if you find some other brand , go for it .. might be better

they not been informed by the HQ i guess .. surely stocks will come within this week

first of all your tv HD or Full-HD ? if Full-HD both of your console set to 1080P .. if HD both of your console set to 1080i .. yes you can adjust the resolution via setting

any PS3 sets will do .. yes you can buy games at any store/ebay ( PS3 games are region free ) .. then play

you mean CECH-3000 series ( slim ) or CECH-4000 series ( super slim ) ? both good .. yea for PS3 malaysia set , you can buy it anywhere and claim warranty from sony malaysia .. no worries

did you try other games ? all of them freeze ?
