Your motherboard might have been bricked hmm.gif I remember sending my PS3 for repair (HDD burnt actually doh.gif ) the shopkeeper asked if my problem occurred right after I updated to 4.xx. he said probably during the update via internet (auto update) something went wrong with the file or whatever then the mobo is bricked and has to be replaced or resetted.

How true is it that Sony will replace defective/dead controller batteries for free? Mine is dead, lol. Usable only via USB, no USB no controller.

Guys, this few days I've been experiencing very very frequent disconnection from PSN. Disconnects every like 3-5 min. Anyone having the same problem or any advice for me? I'm using unifi and still using all the default equipments from TM.

I read somewhere in the internet and it says that FAT32 has limited storage space. Let's say i got one 320G external HDD and it can be formatted into FAT32. Will it able to backup my ps3 data and games? FYI, My ps3 data + downloaded games has eaten up my ps3 storage around 200G.

Sorry if i misunderstood you. You said you have broadband, right? If you do, you can connect it to your PS3. Unless it's a USB modem. Then you gonna need a USB/3G wifi router.
