Hi Kanan,
Not sure if the answer to this question would still be relevant to u now that its been around two months since you last posted the question but here goes.
Unfortunately, your pre-u cert will not be useful in this case and I'm speaking out of experience. I did my A levels thinking that I would need it to fulfil my requirement to enter Japanese universities but it was completely useless in my case.

In the end, I still had to go through the whole process of sitting for EJU and JLPT and all and if the system is still the same then and now, I'm afraid that you would have to spend an extra year at least for this.
No two way about it as far as I know. But maybe things have changed now that I've left Japan for almost two years. So keep asking around, u never know
All the best!!!!

wah, thx God you finally answer lol, I'm still waiting for your reply haha

anyway, i also find out that most (or should i say all) Japanese university will only pick student base on their "entrance exam" which is the EJU i believe?? and also, i check in internet that say that most Japanese tertiary education only requirements is that overseas students should have at least 11 years of education from primary till secondary......and also Japan language proficiency if course.....
btw, after graduation from Japan university, have you decided to continued master at there or find job at there??
thx
