Went to the sales gallery last week, almost 50% of Oleander sold..now 60%. guess in no time it will be sold out. Understand the banyan sold out within 2 weeks. All the good signs heading towards making BSC the place of the future.

As the photo taken earlier as shown by one of you, I can positively identified those units to Duranta units.

I was asking one of the SA about requesting the contractor to install some additional copper pipes to all the bathrooms for future installation of solar heater but was told that it can't be done but asked me to request to the developer. Can anybody suggest with regards to this. Tks all. Looking forward to continue to have feedbacks from you guys.

i heard from a friend of mine whose brother is staying in Desa Coalfields and complained that at times there would foul smell experiences in Desa. Is it true? Just need confirmation. Would it affect BSC?

Hi Guys,

I have visited the sites 2 weeks ago and would like to share that Bromelia and Duranta are going at quite a fast pace. There are show units for Duranta and Bromelia as well. Managed to take some shots but will share them later. The ceiling height is about 10 - 12 feet and not suitable to extend into duplex. No way. Quality wise are good. But the backyard is very short abt 8 feet. Not much space.

What happen to the proposed group renno??? Quiet already??

We were there a few times from 3 - 5 pm but never once did we get any foul smell. We walked from the entrance right to the banyan semi d and hanged around half and hour around the completed banyans. However, there was a nice smell akin to baked bread in a visit a few months ago but it was a very slight smell.

To a wage earner who is in his/her prime, and facing a budget spending, consider the following:
Stay in BSC:
- longer travelling time ie.  20 to 30 min  daily to and fro into town.
- much smaller monthly instalment. This allows you to see a higher saving margin. No financial worries.
- A brand new home, freehold. More pleasing to the eyes and less maintenance in general.

Staying in say PJ:
- faster travel time at non-peak hours. Less petrol.
- jam at peak hours may end up taking an hour to anywhere.
- heavy monthly house instalment is a real burden. It will certainly offset the joy you save on travel time. Worse if they raise BLR!
- putting up with an old 2nd. hand house that requires frequent repairs. Nowadays, plumbers demand hefty fees.
- you feel poor with the house condition and little savings after paying the instalment. Imagine this going on for years in your best prime years.
Conclusion:
I would choose to feel richer and put up with a slightly higher petrol bill by buying in BSC. Enjoy my long travel time in a more upmarket car rather than come home early to worry about finances!

rclxms.gif well said...supreme. But then again if you have children studying, you may have a different opinion i guess. Likewise I have my children's education to think about having to consider enrolling him in a good school or similar one in PJ which he is currently studying of which I have yet to scout around areas in BSC. Any recommendations? Otherwise I would have agreed with you.

You can drive in through the main entrance and need to walk for some distance.

FYI, I have tried driving in last saturday but unfortunately was stopped by an uncle on a motorcycle requesting us to produce written letter from developer to allow us to check our unit. Guess they are quite strict in allowing owners to see their units anymore.

Collected my keys last friday. Inspected the house with minimal defects. Submitted the report for rectification. Hopefully will be soon rectified. The day collected keys, was approached by a contractor offering his services but I would rather have my own contractors to look into my needs. Got my grill guy to quote me yesterday.

In spite of this, I hv few enquiries and questions that I want to share with forumers here. Please comment and suggest if any of you are aware and know about my enquiries, :

1. When can developer hand over VP/keys considering the completion of the unit and the infrastructure? (Roads leading to the units are not completed, Street lamps are not lighted etc.)

2. Can house owner make a complaint if the location of his unit was not in accordance to the plan(ie : the plan stated that the unit is facing an island but in actual unit, it faces a junction)

3. I am bz looking for better deal on the fixtures and fittings. Any suggestions?

Please enlighten. Tks all.
