You sound so relax about your purchase, bro. May I know the reasons that made you to want to buy a banyan semi-d in BSC? I too bought one and I don't mind staying there as long as there is good choices of Chinese/Thai hawker food like what I am enjoying now in PJ!

I really hope that I won't miss these. For me, the main reason for this purchase is a landed freehold home and relatively cheaper thus value for money. I don't mind the distance if BSC can become a township similar to Taman Megah PJ or SS2. People can then skip coming over to PJ for food. The price we paid is making it much less per month to pay instalment

.
BSC will have fresh air as the whole area is surrounded by oil palm. The upward sloping hill is good for walk and exercise. Elsewhere in PJ, you can't run or walk without breathing in polluted air. It is thus an ideal place for people who retire like me.
My only wish is that when the shop lots are tenanted out, there may be more Chinese restaurants there. This is very possible for as long as there are Chinese, there are food...lol, for we love to eat out! Across the road is Desa Coalfields. It has mostly Malay/mamak food and relatively quiet too.
I checked on Tesco announcement for their new branches but none is in BSC. As I know hypermarts require certain population ratio to be approved by the authority, and maybe the criteria is not met yet for BSC and its surrounding area. However I hope Mydin can own a shoplot or 2 there, like what it does in Masjid India, KL. This will make grocery cheaper. I wonder if future residents can group together to write to Mydin or some big businesses to run a foodcourt such as Ming Tien in Taman Megah, PJ.
Seeking some response from interested parties. Thanks.
Added on March 31, 2012, 5:05 pmCalled KLK developer yesterday and was told the completed banyan unit is not for show unit as all are sold out.
However, you may register for another new launch for semi-d soon. The gently rising up hill is good for those who believe in feng-shui, hahaha, though not me. But the view of a big gentle slope will be refreshing I think. When KLK cut down more palm trees to build more houses (1000 acres) in BSC, then MDKS may approve a hypermart. Hope you join in la, dear bro...
Opposite Desa Coalfields is only 200+ acres only, yet so many homes.
I hope KLK will build the shoplots soon, or we will need to travel far out for our needs at least for the coming 2013 or more..
Hope Henry can comment on this issue.
Henry seems like disappear for quite long d, wonder whether he still working in KLK? As I told by the staff, more than 80% of the buyers are Chinese, as we chinese are good in looking for the business opportunities, I believe will have some tauke will open the restaurants there
For sure 1000+ acres will have hypermarket or mall to support the communities, just don't know when it will come only, stay tune! haha..
