as far my knowledge goes, york is fast cooling but noisy, mitsubishi is very quiet but slow cooling up. you only need inverter if you use average 6 hours per day, otherwise no effect....

Inverter aircon : Pro: save electricity.  Can on without much bother for the electric cost to get filtered air  for mom and baby are mostly at home. Stronger air blast. For your hall, a 1 1/2 hp unit will be enough, or put on the ceiling fan on gear 1 and get good fresh air. Some degree of cooling can even spread towards the dining. If needed, put on the fan to low gear can cool whole hall. As far as I know, all aircons suck in air from indoor, cool it and blow out cool air through its filters. So air is filtered and can reduce haze hazard. only thing must service often. Self cleaning only with external filter but can't reach the internal parts. some service  companies only dust the unit with a brush or kain, not sufficient. Should ask them to dismantle the unit and wash or do a wall flush with piped in water then pasang balik. Some inverter brands have plasmacluster ( some electric charge) to kill bacteria. Mine is York, no plasma ions but good cooling but alas, big gap.

Con: gap in unit after switch off, insect can enter unit and pollute the cooled air as it is being blown out. Told by some that maintenance cost for inverters  is higher too.

Primary concern is to ensure clean air from air con. So if I were you, will choose non-inverter with tight seal when not in use + neo plasmacluster technologhy.
On top of that, an air filter in each room is ideal but double the spending. They also have different area coverage, some only for a small room. Salesman can tell.

i think becoz of density still not high..  so the main tank can still cater for current density.  They cut off the water supply which goes to main tank of the residential area.
So if less people use it..  more water still left in main tank.
Use water wisely.  so we wont get trouble for the 'catuan air'  =)

i already call bomba..  this morning again the smoke didnt reduce at all from last night and bomba said from their previous investigation.  the owner sendiri bakar..  now i want to lodge a complaint to JAS..  for almost 2 month la i think..  smoke sampai tak boleh nafas lah..  so selfish!..  haih..

Thanks for taking the lead to lodge a complaint to bomba on the burning issue. Maybe it would work better if more of us lodge a complaint as well? Can we know what is the address for that burning location?

I'm also thinking to lodge complaint to MDKS or even Prime Minster office for this selfish burning. May I have the address of this selfish owner opposite the junction?

Been to JAS gombak for other purpose last month,
the officer there told me its common that area around kuala selangor has some industry like 'tanah bakar'.

they make an igloo like soil, put a lot of wood inside, and burn the soil for several month. when its dry/black enough, then they sell it for around ~RM8 per/kg. Its a no cost industry with very high profit.

this type of soil is really good for flower/fruit tree planting

Careful with all the indonesia worker and other foreigner worker, the guard also cannot be trusted as we saw them let in motobike with two indian guy who just surveying our neighbourhood!!!
