We all love Chinese language. Commercially, Chinese schools can help to increase the value of property as well.

Was trying the food at one of the restaurants just outside Desa Coalfields. Saw 2 planes passed - one very high, hardly any noise and later another flying lower with a louder noise volumn. Glad it was only for about 5 seconds for it to go off. We were there at 12 midnight! Wonder how many times a day this takes place! The sound volumn is sufficient to wake you up if your windows are open. Can DC residents share info on this?

Found the food served fresh and delicious (tomyam udang besar dan tomyam daging, nasi goreng kampong) but pricey like in Petaling Jaya. The restaurant worker said they have been there for exactly one year and thriving. Business hours from 3 pm to 3 am. Lousy drinks though. The grounds are broken and is a big turn off. Serupa kawasan perang! Kena fikir 2 kali sebelum pergi.sad.gif Yet, there is another restaurant next door that looks very up market with good ambience. Will try the food there next time around smile.gif just to explore.

you don't need a 'chinese school' to study chinese language, chinese roots or chinese cultute. chinese roots and culture can be learnt at home, chinese language is offered as a class in most schools. anyway, let's not discuss this here - i just found it interesting that a forumer mentioned chinese school. cheers

Then please do not simply touch other topics which is not related to this forum. Anyway, it is really interesting (as you have said) because the management is trying to get in Chinese school at the adjacent land, according to the sales person. cheers

You can drive in through the main entrance and need to walk for some distance.

FYI, I have tried driving in last saturday but unfortunately was stopped by an uncle on a motorcycle requesting us to produce written letter from developer to allow us to check our unit. Guess they are quite strict in allowing owners to see their units anymore.

Yes, this is the standard procedure for the construction site for safety reason.

From now onwards i think we should unable to view our house in near range as most of those units is in complete stage and klk also worry too many visitors may create damage or making complaints here before handover.
Please, if any of bromelia or duranta has been inform to collect your house key drop us a massage.

Ever since the forming of a Residents' Association (RA) was first mooted by awiva in his posting on Oct 18, 2011, there was never another whisper on the subject. While some other subject matters discussed in this forum are for the overall good of the BSC community, we should not worry too much about the hardly audible planes flying thousands of feet overhead, but should be focusing, at least for now, on the formation of a Pro-Tem Committee/Associations (PTC/A). This will open up a better line of communication between the buyers and both KLK and the House Buyer's Association (HBA).

Upon vacant possession, the Pro-Tem Committee, after due process, will lead the R.A. This is very important because afaik, you need to seek the approval of the Local Authorities (L.A) to set up security post/patrols and the L.A will only liase with the R.A pertaining to such matters. While I and some others may have the option of moving in at a later date, it is not only the early residents who should take the cue but everyone else should be proactive. So may I humbly call upon those future residents with R.A or leadership experience, to please do a noble deed and take the lead. Contributions, services, in whatever shape or form, will be greatly appreciated. notworthy.gif

I support the move as well but I think Areca not ready so soon. So the areca community will move in the last since they are the last phase that hv started building.

The R.A is formed to look after the interest of everyone in Phase 1, irrespective of the time of VP. I hope that the R.A Committee will be represented by residents from all the different precincts/sectors (like sub-committees). Realistically, since only Banyan I & II comes with guarded security, the others under their various "sub-committees" will be entrusted to organize and run their own security. This I think is unavoidable 'cos unless the monetary contributions in relation to the no. of residents in each precinct is the same, the level of security will not be on par, not unless there is cross subsidy. Does anyone see this happening? Have we reached this level of generosity? I think.........

Now this is where the R.A can help by getting the approval for a "Guarded Community" and, on behalf of the different precincts, in procuring the services of a reputable security firm. This way, not only will it lower the costs but most importantly, have a unified response during emergencies. Perhaps the sales personnel of KLK too can help by informing the buyers about this forum so that there will more input. For the time being, let's hear your views/suggestions on how to improve our future quality of life. Sorry for being so "cheong hei"
