latest hacking for 3rd, 5th. S^1, S^3.
NO DEVCERT REQUIRED FOR THIS.

everything is in the attached NortonHackLDD zip :
a - nortonsymbianhackldd (updated version)
b - nortonsymbianhack (the first version)
c - installserver.exe for S3, anna and belle.
d - installserver.exe pack for various phones
e - installserver.rmp pacth v1.7

STEPS BY STEPS ON HOW TO :

1 - extract the archives and copy everything inside nortonhackldd folder to your phone.
(for easy to search on later. copy the archive to the root of memory card or mass memory of the phone)
Install x-plore first
ExTRA STEPS FOR X-PLORE.
run x-plore,
Press (tap) Menu )> Tools )> Configurations )> check (mark) all 4 boxes. uncheck "ask to exit" and press back.
(play with x-plore for a while to get familiarized to it's options
2 - install x-plore. and look for nortonhackldd folder

3 - install nortonsymbianhackldd and press "yes" to all prompts.
(i use this as an example for this tutorial)

4 - run norton and press options/menu or just tap on the antivirus )> select "quarantine list" )> options/menu again )> restore all and press "yes" and we can exit norton now.
(that's it for norton. we not going to use it any more. it can be deleted now)

5 - use x-plore and install rompatcher+ 3.1
(better to install this to phone memory. drive C)

6- run rompatcher+ and apply open4all patch (just tap it)
(by now, we can already access the locked folders and edit or modify it)

7 - apply installserver patch, now, we can installed whatever we want.
(skip this if we are using belle, installserver patch doesn't works on some applications. mostly modded widgets)

8- copy installserver.exe to C/sys/bin
(only if you on belle or the patch doesn't works for you.)

9 - we are done.

enjoy the freedom of symbian.

P.S all patches can be added to auto start. press menu on rompatcher+ and add it to "add to auto"

Good news for vivaz users.

what things u can do after hacking it?

Alot of things. My main interest is in modding the phone without flashing it to cooked firmware's.

bump for those interested in this.
since belle, the old installserver pacth stop working.
get the new one and replaced it with the old version in patches folder.
there are still some error with this latest patch. so, to avoid any headache. better to use installserver.exe copied to C/sys/bin.

i get certificate error when i do this step..

if u still got certificate error, means you didn't copy installserver.exe to the right path in ur phone

i cpoied the installserver.exe into sys/bin d.. all steps should be correct but when i try to install the baidu keyboard,it says unable to install protected files. :/

weird. r u usng te wrong installserver.exe? cn u install the.xplorer t the first post? the Xplorer isn't signed and if u can't install it, means maybe u r using wrong installserver.exe

if you aren't doing these things, you still can install all software..

hacking is needed to
- customize phone
- to explore the 'private files' [to modify or customize it]
- to enable ROMPatcher [to customize phone,modify, etc]
- to install free symbian apps that doesn't have certificate[valid certificate]
- and many more...
