 How to change this plaster ceiling?

Hi, look at ceiling of this condo.. Its a ready-made by developer. I believe its a plaster ceiling right? So how do we install another L-box plaster ceiling replacing this one?

Actually this is really nice...no need to change to L box.
and some more the area is very small...put l box may not look nice

From the photo posted, the place is a bit narrow. If you put in the L box, it will make the area even narrower.
Personally, I prefer the existing ceiling then to put in the L box. Anyway, the decision is yours. If you have the L box, the aircon will need to be lowered & the window is affected.

L-box makes a room look smaller...normally only done in living halls as the hall is already quite big.

I think L box wont look nice, the area is narrow... suggest u save money.... this is already very nice btw

WHy you want the L-Box for? No beam around there, impact the aircorn and curtain...

thanks for the replies guys..

yeah i thought so the window and curtain would be affected.. actually that room is a section next to the living room seperated by a partition(the wall itself)...

the following pic is the living room where i very much want to put a l-box.. but the window?! ceiling height is not a prob and its very specious here sad.gif

the ceiling is done by developer?

yea, when i first time visit the house i was like not bad the ceiling. then i checked out every other units on internet, turns out to be similar =.= lol!

its USJ one avenue by MCT. tbh this condo offers a very wide range of features for its price (look up on internet). modern facade with good security etc etc. only thing that pulls it down are USJ1 infamous jam itself, leasehold and surrounded by flats haha.
