Microsoft has released 8 new updates for Windows 8 Developer Preview which can be downloaded and installed using Windows Updates.

Note: The updates modify the build tag of Windows 8 developer preview from 8102.101.winmain_win8m3.110830 to 8102.109.winmain_win8m3.110912


Following are the new updates:

KB2608612 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2608612:

This update fixes a situation when applications stop responding when they send synchronous messages to a suspended application that is created for Windows Developer Preview. Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2010 without a service pack is a common application that encounters this issue.


KB2614194 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2614194:

On a computer that is running Windows Developer Preview (codenamed "Windows 8"), input text that should display right-to-left in Internet Explorer is mirrored.


KB2616150 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2616150:

This update fixes two issues that occur when you log on to a computer that is running Windows Developer Preview:

Issue 1 - When you log on to a computer that is running Windows Developer Preview, a blank green screen appears. However, the start screen should be displayed.

Issue 2 - When you log on to a computer that is running Windows Developer Preview, you cannot use the keyboard to move through the Tile grid and select an application or Tile.
