The Mirror says Harry Redknapp could replace Mark Hughes as QPR boss as early as next week. Rangers face Manchester United at Old Trafford at the weekend, with suggestions that no result will rescue Hughes from the sack. The Ukraine FA's interest in Redknapp is believed to have spurred QPR into action as they hope to lure 'Arry before he considers taking the national team gig.
Sure or not... |

Some famous Sparky quotes:
QUOTE Mark Hughes on Agincourt: "I was pleased with our close fighting , but people will dwell on the English archers, unfairly in my view." Mark Hughes in Little Big Horn: "I felt we dominated the battle, and the massacre of all my troops was a fluke that we didn't see coming." Mark Hughes on Jonestown: "We prepared meticulously. The only error was the poison in the drinks at half time, and that's cost us dearly." Mark Hughes on Light Brigade: "The cannons to the left and right gave them extra width, which we didn't deal with." Mark Hughes on Light Brigade (2): "It's not mismanagement - the preparation was meticulous. But the loss of all our horsemen cost us." Mark Hughes on the Titanic: "We prepared well, but it was one iceberg that did for us. I still believe I'll get everyone alive to New York." Mark Hughes on the Titanic (2): "For long stretches of the voyage we didn't hit any icebergs. We've got to concentrate on those positives." Mark Hughes on the Spanish Armada: "We prepared well but were undone by a moment of individual skill from Drake. We can still take England." Mark Hughes on France 1940: "We prepared well, but no one could foresee the Germans going round the Maginot line. We'll definitely hold Paris." Mark Hughes on Stalingrad: "We prepared well, but a lucky Russian winter cost us badly. I'm still confident we can take Moscow. Mark Hughes on Battle of Bosworth: "We prepared well, but the lack of a horse at a crucial time cost us dearly. But we can build from here." Mark Hughes on JFK: "We prepared well, but a silly error meant we didn't check the book depository. But there was only one corpse Mark Hughes on Battle of Hastings: "We prepared well, but you can't legislate for a freak arrow in the eye. That cost us dearly … Mark Hughes on the Franklin expedition: "We prepared meticulously, using the finest British technology. That it didn't work in the arctic winter cost us dearly" Mark Hughes on the sacking of Rome: "Rome will not be sacked. And neither will I." |

QUOTE(hmalaya @ Nov 25 2012, 12:06 AM) damn it harry sitting on the stands... who told you harry could sit in the bench without officially be the coach and if he is, dont you think its too soon for him to manage the team after only signed the contract for maybe, a day? so to let the assistant manager incharge for it will b better.if he has the gut should have stand in the bench tonight! most likely Tony's PR strategy... QUOTE(Ken @ Nov 25 2012, 01:45 PM) i think no team ever survive the relegation if they still bottom at christmas ... hope harry can break this jinx ... dude it was broken some time back...QUOTE The Curse of Christmas refers to a trend where the team at the bottom of the table at Christmas has been relegated at the end of the season every year except one (2004/05 West Bromwich Albion) since the Premiership started in 1992.[5] The achievement has since been dubbed 'The Great Escape' due to its improbability, particularly as West Brom were still bottom of the league on the morning of the last day of the season. now please wait for redknapp to do his magic, maybe he can persuade his nephew to join QPR next This post has been edited by cempedaklife: Nov 25 2012, 02:42 PM |
