Hi,

i have got my quotation from a contractor, is the price reasonable or too high
below is the list

Electrical price reasonable.

But aircond pipe look expensive? Required a lot hacking + conceal? What is the length of copper pipe?

price looks quite reasonable. if you want, can ask my contractor to quote, I think maybe can be 1,000 - 2,000 cheaper but depends on specifics.

reasonable..some items are a cheaper but the aircond is rm200+ more expensive compared to standard pricing...might be longer o better pipes but still reasonable la

hi all, thanks for the replies. since the price is reasonable, i think i have to cut some items.
the aircond pipe need alot of hacking and it needs a long pipe, as my house is condo, limited place to placing the compressor

long pipe...if compressor id too far..then the aircond wont work as efficient than short distanced ones..

Dunno why u guys say its reasonable. Is KL rates so expensive? My contractors in Johor seemed cheaper..
Cooker point and aircon point abit expensive.
Painting work - tell us how big is your house? interior quote only ah? should include doors mah

BUT Aircon conceal piping looks like a rip off. is your compressor very far away?
My 2.0hp living room piping only RM280 with conceal plaster, 6metre piping.
If yours is a condo, can conceal your wiring by plaster ceiling, cheaper..
My 1.5hp bedroom piping also around RM300, my bedroom is 400sqfeet, aircon one corner and compressor the other end of the room.
I can't imagine your pipe cost and installation cost.. can buy one 1.0hp aircon!!

Other quotes stated inside, is quite ok reasonable la..
Ask them quote u cheaper for aircon point, and get another aircon piping quote from other ppl..

cooker point means?? the water heater? the hob? the oven?
for a 2.5mm cable.... it can handle 4800W... not inclusive of deterioration of length..... dunno whether true anot....
