no Rm3.5k with the body but free MMF3..pretty worth it if u take MMF3 instead of 32GB memory card.

After reading 75 pages of this thread, research for weeks, I finally decided to buy oly EP3. I have few more questions to ask b4 I buy (maybe this weekend)
1. What is standard items inside the package?
2. How to check if the camera is new? Is it check the shutter count? If yes, how to do it?
3. I'm newbie into photography. I mainly take pic of my bb girl, travel, food. What lens u recommend to buy beside the standard kit lens? Or should master the camera and skill first b4 buying lens?

Yea! I am thinking of grabbing either EP3 or EM5 now. *headache* EP3 costs Rm2800+ whereas EM5 costs Rm4500+ at market. Arrrr...Rm1700 different.

My question is, is it really worth it to spend another RM1700 to get EM5?? U know la, we malaysian very calculative. Help help

Ah! True too. Still yet to know what's the retail price once it's distributed in market. Hopefully it's few hundred cheaper.

But just a question, do you think it's worth it to top up Rm1700 for the add on feature? Any huge difference in terms of features upgrade?

because the actual price for this lens if u buy them individually is RM1400. that's why forumer thought they could sell it for higher price. truth is, they can never sell this lens close to the actual value as there really is no value with the lens.

by no value i mean that almost all people who bought the camera with dual kit lens will find no use for the panasonic 14mm (or 17mm for olympus and 16mm for nex) despite its small size, also,  the performance barely differs with the zoom lens that possibly already cover it's range. so they decide to sell this to buy a more useful fast lenses such as the olympus 45mm f1.8 or the all time favorite panasonic 20mm f1.7 which has about the same price range with the actual price of the 14mm f2.5 if u buy it individually.

the thing is, many people taking the advantage of buying the dual lens kit in hoping they could sell the 14mm and keep the zoom lens as a mandatory backup lens. I can name 6 people (maybe more) who wants to sell the lens in the Garage Sales with no luck because they put a high price on it (even if its already half of the original price). Including me 

I will sell my 14mm for a cheap price. If i feel regret of selling it, i just have to go back to the forum and find (and negotiate) a buyer who can sell me for cheap price. there willl be a lot of them selling it anyways. if there's none, put up a WTB thread somebody will PM u. Trust me.

both are worth to get. with 25mm, you get a prime lens which is good for lowlight (and in case you need to zoom in/out, you can always get additional mount and still get low light benefit). your 14-150 is most likely used in events, it is very good if you need to move around and snap pictures. i'm already using kit lens + zoom lens, it takes time to change between lenses thus in events, alwez lambat capture picture one
