Hey guys, for those who play Bad Company 2 or those who'll be playing the upcoming Battlefield 3, may I know whats the minimum framerate (FPS) that you guys need to start pawning in a multiplayer match?

or must be more than 60FPS?

minimum 30 is playable . average at 40-60 is very playable already . 60 and above ur monitor have to support it

yup, best is to get 60fps as possible. 30fps is just not good enuff.

Average of 45 and above is good already for pwning... especially in BF3

The moar the better, anything below 35 is trouble

shitty ping will also grant you a "good" slide show. Was haunted by lag spikes yesterday night at Frag servers. As soon as my in-game ping goes up to 100+, the game become unplayable. Nevertheless, i spam nades the moment lag spikes came, manage to kill 1 before kena M2 at point blank.

60fps for me, u dunno wat will happen when every1 start bombing, and still i get pwnz by other.....i hate whoever nick with MBT

Try using fraps, at least that's how I view my FPS in games

I'm fine as long as it does drop less than 25. It feels choppy below 25

I will still suggest fps 45 above,
30fps is the minimum , but expect there are explosions. smoke, and more complicate effects on the battlefield that may cause u drop below 30 which is unacceptable. massive lag, even ur skill very good, fps below 15 or 10 the screen just lag or freeze when u are trying to aim a target, hard

Got it. My FPS in main menu is 60 FPS, in game FPS about 22 ~ 25 for BFBC2.

which vga card is recommend for this game?
using Quadcore cpu...

I think 30 fps is good enough, as it feels much smoother in BF3 than BC2 for some reason.

Obviously 60fps is the best (anything higher and well, you can 'lower' the frame rate by turning on higher graphics options).

But for me minimum is 30fps. Doesn't happen all the time, and if have to *accept it* then 20 fps enough (single player). For multiplayer, undoubtedly 30fps min - or else reaction time beaten by frame-rate. Or ping.

BFBC2 days with my old rig, 20FPS can own also. But when I got my new PC, damn. So yeah, even with low fps, you can own. Depends on yourself

I think 30fps is the bare minimum for BF3, as it feels much smoother compared to other games at 30fps.
