both technically same sensor, but just paying quite abit more for interpolation u dont need on the sensei.

I bought the Sensei and never bothered about the software. Keeps crashing as you've mention, the stuffs are pretty irrelevant, rather set on the fly instead. It slows down the boot up process of the PC too.

colour doesnt realy match...it tries to be close enough to the chosen colour
and the white isnt exactly white

Volume shortcut key is default by mouse 5 and mouse 6 if i'm not mistaken, download the steelseries engine and update your firmware so your software won't crash.

When you are updating your firmware, Sensei logo will be blinking with blue light.. so be patient.

Open SteelSeries Engine.. and click on button function, you can program from there.. why you cant find?

To set a multimedia key, first click on which button you want to assign, then on the right click new action and name it whatever you want, after that at the bottom click advanced edit... then the macro editor should pop up, uncheck the record delay and in the white box press any key in it. For example I press left mouse click, so button 1 should appear. Now at the left box is action on press, it should be button 1-down and button 1-up, so click on button 1-down and at the bottom should appear type and action, then just edit type to multimedia and action to whatever you want, and done.
