you mean the sensei software not workin?
*
I think that is what he meant.... that is why I asked him to remove previously installed Steelseries Driver/Software that he has on his computer... biggrin.gif

If not, there'll be problems of running it...and also the Microsoft .Net Framework should also be updated/installed wink.gif

ah thanks! i'll get from moderno den  laugh.gif

i wanna chg my mouse mat to qck.. but gt qck+, qck heavy and etc.. which one is the best n most comfortable?  biggrin.gif

currently im using razer kabuto.. n i dun reli like d surface -.- a bit kasar
*
The problem with international purchases is that, whenever you have problems, u need to send it back to the country you buy and not the country you're in...better get it locally where warranty coverage is easier and cost effective...

QUOTE(Everdying @ Oct 2 2011, 10:33 PM)
that didnt stop SS from selling to other ppl when inter-asia was the distributor  whistling.gif
*
huhuhuh tongue.gif

SS sure have some issues back then...I hear from both end, I really cant say anything blink.gif because i only can judge after hearing SS Taiwan tell their side of the story also.. biggrin.gif

I believe the problem comes from SS Taiwan. I thought it is HK, not TW? hmm.gif
*
Lol..I cant remember which is it, taiwan or hk...But i heard it all because of a 'lady' tongue.gif

QUOTE(Fornaxlife @ Oct 4 2011, 04:15 PM)
usualli ppl go for qck+ right?  hmm.gif
*
Not necessarily..If you dont like the team versions, get the black QCK, if you don't want the black version and the team version get the game ones which has titles from starcraft, warcraft, medal of honor and so on...

If u prefer hard thwn can go for 9hd or the 5L or the XS or the S&S...

QUOTE(DemonTweakZ @ Oct 4 2011, 04:16 PM)
Oh ok. How about the build quality?
I read around that the non-slip rubber coating comes off after awhile.
Does that happen with the XAI as well?
*
Depends on the surface contact...If you keep nailing the mouse or high acidity, then probably you will suffer quikcer rubber peel..Juz ensure the mouse is properly cleaned after a session...

Is it possible to RMA my Sensei? There are some faded patches on the edges of my Sensei and it's very ugly indeed. I don't know why it faded, now i can see the plastic build very clearly.
*
Wear and tear probably not...

If manufacturing damage, yes....

If the peeling is a manufacturing defect, i.e when u open the box already like that, then probably it can be RMA....

BUT, after using and it starts peeling then No...because usually its considered wear and tear by end user side... wink.gif

I duno~ What's the main pros and cons?  hmm.gif
*
Get the qck if you are a heavy clicker mouse user or if you still cant get it right, try 4hd or the sx as they are hard surface ones..

If you click lightly then get the qck mass or heavy depending on ur budget...

Cloth is easier to move around for lan part or tournament..and it is available in many sizes to suit ur table..Hard pads wil ensure smooth surface but ur mouse feet will wear significantly higher compared to cloth..

If u glide a lot 4hd mifht not suit your style, but no wories a the 9hd is bigger... But if u dont swipe ur mouse across much the 4hd is adequate...

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Oct 7 2011, 01:29 PM)
hmm how about if i send over to ask them to replace the coating for me, is it possible? Even with a fee. My sensei  looks ugly now sad.gif
*
Dun think there is such service looo..either u diy and cover the impurfection or u can get a steelseries grip to cover areas that has worn...By the way, where is the pic of your mouse? hmm.gif

I think I placed it together with my headset inside a paper bag, that's why it's scratched. I noticed a mini dent also. Lol
*
lol laugh.gif

for shiny mouse finishes, it is advisable to NOT place is together with other sharp edges items that may scratch especially those Kinzu Red and the White....

If those blacky surface coated mouse than is a bit scratch resistant ... nod.gif

If you like cloth moupad and lazy to clean it up, try SS 5L, feel like cloth but hard mouse pad. But... 5L discontinue.
*
thumbup.gif 5L has a nice feel...however ensure you dont scratch the 'cloth' surface' with your mouse or any other objects... sweat.gif

hmm, what can i do if my 7H right ear cup is near dead? sometimes not a single sound came out from it and i need to adjust for n times until the sound finally came. I got it from the steelseries fb giveaway so i don't think play interactive will even bother me if i ask for RMA :S
*
its connection problem for probably the v1 7H....almost all the v1 7H has this kinda problem... the v2 version of 7H has it connector reworked and a slight different mic piece...

u can send for recabling or if you know how to make it urself, then u can just DIY rclxms.gif

Pardon my curiosity but what are those glasses for anyway??
*
Its like those computer glasses only with a slight yellow tint.. The glasses helps to reduce glare and increase the color contrast of the monitor and makes viewing less fatigue.. If you have a chance to test em at show or events i advice you to give it a try...

QUOTE(Crimson_SoulZ @ Oct 15 2011, 12:11 PM)
I've decided that I will be buying Kinzu and QcK mini by next week. Any particular shops that has the cheapest price?
*
Dont focus on 'cheap price' alone, period..Price isnt much of an issue unless its used and the condition is like a war wreck item...What you should look for is the support and warranty hassle whenevr ur mouse has problems.. I've witness first hand on ppl who are greedy to get a 'bargain' price but when warranty come, the seller of his item gives like 1000 excuse or simply wont want to handle the prob..

Also there is also another story of a 'bargain' priced mechanical keyboard, but in like 2-3 days the keboard got problems..Seller MIA, buyer left scratching his head thisking of his 'bargain' paper weight...

Look for the most reliable seller according to your location and if it happens there isnt one near your place, look for an online seller that has a good reputation not in sales alone but also warranty claim

i think up till now all the same....but dunno if Na'vi will be expensive a bit...their mousepad is also expensive than Fnatic, Tyloo and SK...EG and Navi is at the same price... smile.gif
