few of my friends wondered if those MIGF part-timers hired by ss is knowledgeable about their own products.

so my friend asked.

Q: is diablo headset audiojack or usb?
they couldn't answer it.
A: sorry i dont know.

i mean, wth? was quite surprised they would hire someone who dont know about what they are selling yet did not provide brief training. i feel pitiful for them. sweat.gif
*
Lol really ? which Part-timers you asked? the girls/the guys?

Heads up for anyone who wanna get the Siberia USB Sound Card. I own a Siberia USB Sound Card. And I think, nothing's great about it. Unless, you are those that goes to LAN/tournaments/Cyber Cafe and you want the same sound quality then you might wanna consider getting it. Other then that, nowadays most of the onboard sound card are better then the Siberia USB Sound Card.

P/S: That's depend on individual I suppose? But overall, RM169(According to TS) doesn't worth the price. Might as well, you add a bit more and get a better PCIE sound card.
*
True , But are you gonna bring ur PCIE sound card out? haha

not sure, not own any SS mouse, just asking for some recommend from friends then they give me their feedback.
and for sure, not press but scroll.hehe
smile.gif im not s0nny.
*
Mouse scroll issue on steelseries mouse are not that bad, compare to last time when i use microsoft 1.1/3.0, which has terrible mouse scroll and "auto jump" issue in cs. But yeah, so far my sensei works well, no auto jump smile.gif

Kana's firmware will have an update soon. Apparently Steelseries are making a final inspection before releasing it.

Question is, will it gain the trust from gamers after its problematic debut?
*
Hmm , the fireware updates does help i guess, btw , software issue for every new product is normal i guess . hmm.gif

how many KANA u heard there's issue of it? only by watching the video?? hmm.gif
Seriously i don't see a serious issue here except for this unlucky guy that has such issue.. just like sensei im using it from launch till now, i still don get any paint faded or any issue from the mouse. just my 2cents smile.gif

that kana issue is a hardware issue, the sensor cant track at high speeds and malfunctions which makes it spin around like mad.
*
anyone else having the same issue here ? hmm.gif

*
But without them you won't see this mouse smile.gif

how is SteelSeries Ikari Optical
anyone use for bf3 game?
good?
*
Ikari shape was build good for FPS actually, but yeah it depends on personal prefrences. I was using ikari optical before i change it to ZowieEC2 then SENSEI now. Ikari for CS are not bad , but for SA were abit weird for me , not sure about BF3, Why not trying other mouse? or you prefer the shape like Ikari ?

why not?

if they dont make new mouse basicly , less income  tongue.gif

with or without team, new mouse will still come out sooner or later, its business.
i think shernK/ Technog uses it., he play bf3 also ..

mite as well get Deathadder refresh or black edition rougly same price range iinm.
*
Of course it does't effect new mouse coming out , but without them testing or commenting on it, it might be different, Just take a look other brand mice, some of it are freaking HUGE and ugly, which are not useful or comfortable holding it at all, i wonder what's thinking in their mind if is business . LOL

SENSEI probably is the best mouse for now , but if u re low on budget , you could get Xai for better value of money .

Siberia has more colour variant to choose , and 7H has the better sound for me. no matter in gaming/music. 7H still better smile.gif

guys i'm having a problem. my sensei cursor keeps getting stuck. my sensor died once and they RMA it and now this problem happens. should i send it back?
*
Have you update ur firmware and reinstall ur SteelSeries engine? It happens to me once when i bought it and i reset the settings when im at cafe , when i plug back at home , it has some error occur, maybe u could try to uninstall the current SteelSeries Engine, then re-download the latest firmware. Should be working tho.

Ok I'll go back and try that.
Currently I'm using it in office with my laptop and there's no problem at all. I don't have the SS Engine installed on my laptop tho.

What mousepad are you using?
Some forums mention that cloth pads can cause tracking issues. Could it be because of dust trapped in the sensor? I'm using it on a table now and there is no problem.
I just need to figure out a way to replicate the problem consistently for it to be considered an issue. If it's a random occurrence, I doubt if i can RMA mine.
*
Yeah then probably is ur SteelSeries engine problem , For mine i have re-install it everything works fine after all. If you can use it at ur office without SteelSeries Engine , it means have nothing to do with your sensor.

Me myself using QCK+ Tyloo, and also Zowie mousepad before this, i've no problem tho, dust does't effect that much except ur mousepad is kind of dirt on it tongue.gif .

By the way , remember when u uninstall your driver , do remove the old settings , else will be saved in your PC and when you re-install the new driver ,it will run your same settings. try re-install everything and reset your settings.

i re-installed the engine but the jitter still happens occasionally. still have no clue what triggers it. maybe dust? my mousepad is quite clean. i can't believe it's this sensitive. before I RMA my old sensei and got this one, there was no such issue.
*
Try update the sensei mouse and re-install everything , try not to save the old mouse settings at your comp. hmm, if still does'nt work den i guess u have to send it for RMA ..

I did that. deleted appdata also. then redid my settings.
When i installed the SS Engine, there was a pop-up saying programming and the mouse logo was blinking. Is that updating the firmware?
*
Yes thats updating firmware bro. If still hang, it means your firmware is not install properly.

it hanged then it said disconnect and re-connect. after that no problem. but that jitter issue still happens. funny thing is it doesnt happen when i dun use my mousepad and when i dun have the SS Engine installed.
*
Yes, is because you updated the firmware half way and unplug it while is still updating it. that's why it will hang whenever u startup the driver now.

I just updated.
1) i cant seem to be able to key in my desired DPI in the settings
2) white looks like it has a slight tinge of blue.
3) cannot upload custom bitmap image
4) laggy
5) after dragging profiles to mouse, it doesn't change in engine (still shows PROFILE 1, PROFILE 2, PROFILE 3....)

i dunno if its the engine but there was some problems when i was updating the firmware. first was "cannot open bootloader device" and the second was "cannot load fw" or something. right after that my pc BSOD. now the LCD looks like this:

i dunno if you guys can see it but there are lines all over the lcd screen. it never used to be like that. I guess I got to RMA it AGAIN?
