Yea it's true. ModernoPC's RMA units are all new. I've replaced mine after some peeling defects, they replaced mine about a week and a half later with a brand new unit. The refurbished set might just be speculations actually.

Ps: this tered is dying. Where iz everyone?

YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT MICE WITH WRONG FEET?

You can get them replaced for free.

We have noticed that one of our newest members of the family, the SteelSeries Kana, was brought in to the world with the wrong feet.

While we are confident that you could continue to dominate with those feet, we would like to send you a set of the correct Teflon™ feet. Free of charge. Just to ensure your quality of life, overall happiness and sliding perfection.

Lmao @ PI. Your first sentenced made me laugh.

Finally they corrected the feet. Good after sales service then. How about the new batch? Will they be replaced or we replace it ourselves?

LOWL..... no wonder the description and the actual product is so "contrasting", the site say one thing and the actual product says another....

so now at leas they admit that it was a mistake and would replace them FOC....

hahaha... me too, guess SS is kinda "nervous" as Kana is so "hyped" and "highly anticipated" by gamers due to the fact that it is "Gamer's Design Choice"

Indeed it was their fault for releasing the wrong feet, but at least the realized and offer to replace them.

Design wise, Kana is a looker. Not sure about the performance. Any Kana users here?

Probably a cover up.

But then again, it will cost them more to release the Teflons for free. Not possible for it to be scripted unless they don't mind the cost.

Actualy RMA is depends on the servicing crew..
Most RMA products are sent back to HQ then back..
For speed PI mostly replaced it with a new unit 1st

Hey guys, I had a quick question regard on the Steelseries Sensei mouse.

1. I had downloaded the latest SSEFix_1.17.8.6.exe. So I updated the "Update Sensei Mouse".
2. At 41%, it displayed "Can't load the bootloader" and the whole mouse is not lighting up anymore. The LCD screen displaying "Upgrading V1.13...."
3. I even tried spamming the software but it doesn't improve anything, instead it just mentioned "Send update request failed".

So is my mouse dead? Just been using it 1 months+.

Thanks.

Bro, I had tried that as well. The weird part is whenever I launch the SSEFix software, it always stuck at 8% instead of 41%. So I'm quite confused either my mouse really died. Even the mouse doesn't have any blinking at all.

That's what worry me a lot.

Your mice is not dead. Please re-plug your mice again. do not move while it's updating (blue blinking).

FYI we are not planning to participate PC Fair on April smile.gif But however we do have some sales booth on May 25th @ Subang Parade for DotA 2 - The Evolution Grand Finals
