I am not sure myself...after the downhill I just kept on pedaling and followed the guy in front of me....guess its a case of the blind leading the blind...

Leading our (lost) group was a lady...hehehe ...dunno if it had any bearing to it ...hahaha...to be fair to her she wanted to turn around ...by the way ...did anyone notice a hot chick at CP3? ...I did ...heheheh

Jamboree Review

Just my 2 sen on the Jamboree's I ve joined on my first year of MTB riding:

(1st) MCC Muar
Trail Difficulty: 4/5 (manage to finish)
Fun Factor: 3.5/5
Challenge Factor:4/5
Jamboree Management:4.5/5
Lucky Draw Giveaways:3/5 (some old outdated stuff)
Jersey/Tshirt Design:3/5
Food:4.5/5

(2nd) PCC
Trail Difficulty:5/5 (only to CP2)
Fun Factor:3/5
Challenge Factor:5/5
Jamboree Management:3.5/5
Lucky Draw Giveaways:5/5
Jersey/Tshirt Design:2/5
Food:2/5

(3rd) ECC Burung Hantu
Trail Difficulty:3.5/5 (manage to finish)
Fun Factor:5/5
Challenge Factor:3.5/5
Jamboree Management:4.5/5
Lucky Draw Giveaways:4/5
Jersey/Tshirt Design:4/5
Food:NA (lazy to Q)

(4th) Kuale Kangsar Jamboree
Trail Difficulty:TBC
Fun Factor:TBC
Challenge Factor:TBC
Jamboree Management:TBC
Lucky Draw Giveaways:TBC
Jersey/Tshirt Design:TBC
Food:TBC

Summary:
Muar was quite challenging, probably cause its my first ever Jambo...the trail was challenging...quite a few climbs but the downhills were rewarding and fun...it was well managed as marshals were a lot and trail markings were clear...they had loads of photographers as they knew riders love to get their pictures taken...lucky draw was so so...some old stuffs were given away...low marks as compared to others...but food was really good...

PCC...toughest ride to date..period (at least for me lah)but because of its challenge and difficulty its among the memorable event as people still talked about it days after the event...management was ok...they didnt have much markers etc...still a good event nonetheless...

ECC...trail was rideable for me heheh...climbs were still bearable, except for the last hill....some nice downhills and it tested how you ride on muddy and sticky trail..and being at night heat was not a factor...therefore it was the most fun to date..lucky draw giveaways were good... and the tshirt was also nice..probably the best managed event out of the 3...am sure its also the hardest to manage as the Jambo is at night

Next up for me is Kuale Kangsar...hopefully it ll be a good one...

Hahah...sure can la...

King Kong like me can finish ...anyone can la...

The thing about day Jamborees is the heat ....it can really get to you ....
I think the best benchmark is probably PCC...if you can do PCC...you can do any Jamboree...
