just speak english. most of our core syllabus is in english so i dont see anything wrong there
some subjects do use Malay language like BM classes (obvious right?) and some history classes

good choices are not the thing that us should decide for you right? but still, I'm majoring in CS too so in my opinion is that its good to have new juniors to be friend with, welcome aboard if i might want to say...

anyway if you want to take CS or IT course, you'll be grateful that all your classes will be in COIT, Uniten's North Pole



yeah, supposely you can't. this is to avoid you guys from hogging all the parking space at the collage. its a different story if you already know all the student who same batch intake as you do, so you can do some carpooling right?

if all new students who didn't know each other yet then each of you guys bring your own cars, mati la dey! usually uniten intake is like more than 500++ students, hoi sure lah our collage parking packed like shopping mall

just... be thankful a little since uniten didn't charge any fees for parking lot...

forgot to mention that uniten provide bus as your transportation to travel inside uniten. but yeah, punctuality and spaces for the bus service is an obviously questionable

from amanah apartment to shops will take about ±10min walking (my own experience)
from amanah apartment to COIT will also take about ±10min walking... (my own experience)

unless you are engineering student, your classes will at COE, then it will about ±25min walking from amanah apartment to COE and its quite ridiculous since you'll arrive at COE in sweaty state. (my own experience, srsly! )

i would recommend to bring bicycle, its kinda easy to go anywhere around uniten with it.

this is one of the reason even a straight scorer in SPM can't do well in university level. being spoonfed long enough for 11-12 years then suddenly the learning pattern changes.

if you really paid it, then you should keep some proof of it like receipt or payment slip along with you... uniten is famous with its late update ledger balance.

and for the sake of lulz, dont bring it if you didn't want to be laughed by your colleagues and lecturers around there.

Yes you can, just be sure that the room that you've picked have 2 empty slots inorder to be roommates. Last hope is when the apartment is each is occupied with a person then you still can be housemates, just having different rooms but still living under the same roof.

A handy tips, appoint your friend to come earlier at the same time with you to uniten, register sama-sama, bayar sama-sama and therefore you can register hostel sama-sama. That will do.

If not, its the first step to be independent without have any friends nearby and get ready to socialize a bit, or you might end dead without having any friends. Its a good start actually for not to have any your closed friends with you in order to experience it well how's college should be. A friendly advice, just be active. Dont passively minding you own business around there, won't do good for you college life and other thing will related to it. Do that and you'll hurt yourself throughout each semester.

I dont think jeans the only thing girls wear in these days doesnt it? Sheesh. Anyway on orientation, avoid wearing jeans if you didnt want to be different than the others. Actually wearing jeans for professional attends like orientation or classes is kinda inappropriate mostly will offended most lecturers as well.

Anyway you guys are grown ups right? You probably know whats good and bad things to do now will ya? if you feel you need to have a change of image then this is a good start, wear nicely and you might treated well since no one care whats your background on that time if you give a good first impression right? Choices is yours. Its your turn to decide and take consequence by yourself.

a single semester will take about 16-19 cr hours. depends on your subject's cr hours. mostly core subjects will take about 3 - 4 cr hours. while non-core will usually 2.

so if you say ±25 cf hours, then probably a 1 half semester will be transferred

what could be the difficult thing? just bring your LAN cables and plug it from your computer to the LAN socket at the wall provided...

or are you talking about wifi? i dont remember is there any wifi around amanah or probably im missing something...

ah, the proxy settings eh... that was not actually hard to config yourself actually... just need the working IP address to get it working. so try to ask your friend what is the IP that the faci gave him.

if I got many requests, i'll make a manual for it...
