Kapoks are weird, kinda of a hybrid i guess, body, head and the fretboard are more similiar to a classical while using steel strings at the same time. My suggestion is to stick with whatever type of strings it came with as my brother tried to string nylon to the old kapok guitar and it nearly tore off the bridge.

yea >.< they're classical design but steel string =.=
btw, thx for your's brother experience =P
i will go for steel string ^^
i though i can change to nylon while easier and tender =D

Well, nylon can hold definitely, but the bridge shows signs of tearing when i got it and the lady at the shop highlighted to me when i was changing back to steel strings.

how long period you changed to nylon ? and change back to steel ?
i meaning of you used the nylon string for how long period ?
i might get the nylon if possible because i like it so much =P
if short period can make the bridge gg.com then back to steel =.= no choice
