anyone noticed this news?? looks like a good opportunity. just wondering if there's any forumer who already bought the DPL book??? and anyone experienced buying from this kind of auction before? sorry cant quote the news.. dunnow why couldnt highlight to copy. |

Sementara itu katanya, bermula 11 Sept ini JPJ Negeri Sembilan akan mengadakan kaunter '1JPJ' di Giant Superstore Nilai pada setiap Ahad dari 11 pagi hingga 4 petang. Katanya antara aktiviti yang dijalankan ialah pemeriksaan motosikal bagi cukai jalan yang tamat tempoh melebihi setahun, pertukaran alamat lesen memandu dan pemilik kenderaan. Turut diadakan ialah aktiviti MyEG iaitu pembayaran lesen memandu, pembaharuan cukai jalan dan insurans oleh MyEG serta menyemak senarai hitam oleh MyEG. |

Make sure u or bring along s'one familiar wit cars to hv a look at d cars on auction 1st.
While it may b cheap, d cost of repair n effort might b much more. |

Careful, a friend bought a Satria at RM 8k but failed Puspakom inspection because involved in major accident and repaired badly by previous owner - cut and joint at A pillar. Had to spend another RM 3k for runner to kau tim.

my friend bought a gen2 from kastam tender. the car after repair cheaper than market by about 5000.

Normally good cars already taken before the auction by insiders & used car traders.
What's left are the not so nice ones for the public to tender. |

just came back from jpj seremban,
got 66 item 2 be auction, but most of them r motor, not car, even is car some of them cant be OTR. This post has been edited by aca1: Sep 15 2011, 12:00 PM |

I have been to a used car auction before once. Was there 3 hours before it start.
Saw a Merc C200 1996 being canabilised for parts at the workshop.They took the alternator,compressor and replaced it with faulty parts. Was told by one of the worker to stay away from that car. Starting auction price is RM9000. Considering a merc c200 to fetch a market price of Rm28,000 i would not see a reason why people will not want to bid on that car. Car interior was in a rough shape. The car was dragged with all four wheels on the ground to the auction site with another car. Can say the gearbox was pretty screwed too. This post has been edited by 779364: Sep 15 2011, 01:11 PM |
