Well, I have to agree about the 'airborne' thing but it only happen when you are taking the bumps quite fast. Furthermore,
some bumps are not so clear ie. yellow strips fading, unclear signage, that make u go fast over the bumps.

Just use Papago lah. Much better and easier to install than Garmin.

Cannot blame them for overtaking.

Many does not have true experience of a convoy unless they're experienced club members who do that b4 ----> me....haha.

Even got a walkie for convoy purpose. Most of us members have one then...one safety car lead in front, one safety car at back to watch out for "stray"...if someone stray out from the convoy to overtake...back safety car will warn them out to get back in. There is a reason for lead safety car being there...to lead the way, watch out for dangerous situation, avoiding jams and most of all warn all members following behind abt anything untowards happening in front..

No walkie, then follow guai guai behind lead safety car....sure looks better with 1 dragon stretch of PE rather than all car swerving left right leaving the main lead car behind...

Note that you can only skim once or twice. After that, better change the disc out as it might thin to a level that compromise braking effectiveness. So normally I prefer NOT to skim UNLESS its confirm that the disc is uneven and causing problems.

Okay, here comes the videos that I've promised!

Now, some of you might have experienced some 'tak tak' sound coming from the rear right passenger door whenever the car goes over road bumps, corners, or when the road is uneven. This may be caused by the rubber sealing on the car that turns dry after the car was parked under the sun or exposed to heat for too long. This method of identifying the source of the noise has been proven multiple times on a few members' car: Zapdos9, lhongwuh, and even my own car, and it's proven to work. However, this is not a permanent solution. The spray serves as a softener and conditioner for the rubber so that when it's rubbing against the door, the smooth surface of the rubber will reduce the friction with the door, therefore eliminating the noise altogether. It had to be applied regularly as the rubber tend to dry up pretty quickly. This is the only alternative solution to the mentioned problem, apart from having the whole rubber strip replaced. Please watch video 1 on how to identify the noise mentioned. Pay close attention to 0:12 and 0:27 to get a clear idea of what the noise sounds like.



Video 2 below on how to double confirm that the noise is indeed caused by the rubber, and the troubleshooting involved as well as proof that the noise is eliminated.

No lah. It's pre agreed already that they'll follow behind on the way up. No overtaking/playing during the journey uphill. From karak highway still ok. After that formation break.

Skimming brake discs.. I really dun find it useful. It's a temporary solution for a problem that will come back again. Might as well just change to a better disc, like brembo's ventilated disc.
