TBH the gen2 & PE are at their late/final/old stage now, about to be replaced by persona R very soon. If u dun mind about the depreciation after u get one, by all means go ahead..

The gen2 CPS mt has got a more powerful engine than PE, and slightly better handling due to the lack of boot/overhang at the rear. The sitting position is also sportier, party due to the semi bucket seats in Gen2 as opposed to normal seats in PE. However, the PE is much more comfortable especially on long distances.

The Gen2 is more of a modder's car, so there are more choices of mod parts available for Gen2 compared to PE. The lack of 32 bit ECU (used in PE) in Gen2 makes modding easier too.

So.. Ur choice lah pinky..

Gen2 CPS not in production d lah. It's only old stocks selling now. If u want, u can still get the Waja CPS old stock at RM 45k or so. It's quite a bargain if u actually look at it. But the design is rather dated & ugly lah. Ride quality & insulation wise Waja CPS is really good.

Lower suspension setting for improved handling. PE is more comfort-oriented.

PE H-line feels quite executive if compared to Gen2 CPS. But it's only available in AT.

The new Gen2 comes with IAFM if I'm not mistaken, and it's using PE's rear lights.

Ur Myvi what's the trade in value? How many years car d?

Venture into own business lah.. I will definitely start my own investments & business once I have enough to do so.. Prolly in another 3-5 years.. Work for ppl will never get rich lah.. Unless hold super duper high positions..

If that's the case.. I suggest u to continue driving the Myvi first.. U will definitely need the money in case of an emergency.. Plus I'm sure u're givin some of ur salary to ur parents, rite?

Then either u trade in + add another 10-15k or so.. Then reduce loan amount.. Still can manage geh.. But if ur Myvi still working well.. Just drive it lah.. Save to get another better car.. Unless u get promoted lo..

Guys, it's been a while since we had a proper TT (last PROPER TT that we had was Mega TT V5.0 on the 14th May 2011 at Kayu Nasi Kandar, Aman Suria.), so I thought it might be a good idea to organize another TT on the 16th of September. It's a Friday and a public holiday, shouldn't be much of a problem for members to attend if they really want to and have the heart to do so.

What I meant by a proper TT? To be honest, we've had dozens of TTs and mini TTs, but new members rarely show up. It's as if their existence is purely fictional and they live only in the thread. The aim of this TT is to meet new members, share more knowledge about our dear Personas and have fun. Do not be intimidated by the use of English in this thread as we're a multi-racial community that speaks all sorts of language & dialects during TTs. (English, Malay, Cantonese, Hokkien, Mandarin, you name it.. I can speak Russian as well if you want me to. )

What are we going to do during the TT? Well the plan is actually to meet up at the parking lot by 8PM, and then we'll drive and bring our TT to Genting Highlands. Expecting around 10+ members to join this TT, but if it's less than that it's fine also.

Awesome.. Now got 16 members ady.. Finally for the first TT we meet quota.. haha..

I have some suggestions to make here.. Since this TT is gonna be quite big this time.. I don't quite want it to be a sosej-fest just like how the previous TTs used to be. And since our only female member (phythia79) is no longer active (how sad), this never-ending chain of gay parade will never ever cease to exist.

The point that I'm trying to illustrate here is.. Bring ur chicks along!! try to bring ur gfs or friends along if possible.. This TT is open to all, & of course.. The more the merrier.. What do u guys think about this? Feedbacks pls
