Whats the converter you were using?
try to use FFmpeg/libavcodec-based converter, RMVB audio format has several type, COOK and AAC are the most commonly used, Some converter dont support COOK because its proprietary format, while AAC is widely supported. |

google 4 "free video converter" if u dont like trial editions
  btw i want 2 ask does having more ram boosting the conversion speed???i m thinking of buy 2 pieces 4 gig ram soon...not planning 2 pick up video editing yet though...just 4 the video conversions only |
