It wont be as fast as an Inspira. First, Inspira has a bigger capacity engine and second, Inspira definitely has better handling.

Persona? Too old. No point putting CVT in a model about to be phased out early next year. Might as well, just put it in the new car as one of the main selling feature + pedal shifters. smile.gif

I've been driving my dad's Inspira a lot since he bought it and as a result, my Saga SE is gathering dust and spider webs.

It is superior compared to the Saga in almost every aspect. It's more stable around corners and is better insulated which gives the driver a false sense of speed. Put it simply, when you're driving over 100 km/h, it doesn't feel like you're going fast even though you are. Nothing dramatic. The Saga, on the other hand, feels like its about to disintegrate with the noise intrusion and turbulence.

That's the reason why there's a 40K gap between these two cars.

I noticed that the speedo of 1.6 saga is up to 240km/h compared to other saga up to 200 only..But I dare not go that fast la..but its great to know that our sub-50k car can go as fast as those 1.8l even some 2.0l cars!  flex.gif

You can try reaching those speeds but then you'd end up in the local newspaper the next day...in pieces.

Guys, need advice.

I was involved in an accident. Nothing major.

I was coming out of a junction, inside a yellow box, slowly inching my way out to cross to the other side of the road. Other motorists have stopped for me as there is a yellow box. As I was about to cross over, a fast moving motorcyclist whacked me at the driver's side.

A little bit of scratches and tyre marks and the lower part of my car is slightly bent.

I asked him to compensate me since he was riding so fast and crashed into my car but the ******* (which is a Chinese btw) told me to go fly kite and sped off. Luckily I took down his number plate.

Should I report to police even if damage is minimal? I know I won't get compensated but he will be fined by the cops. Does that justify all the hassle? First time involved in accident so forgive me if I'm naive or being silly.

Engine performance I think Civic wins. Ride comfort FLX wins.
Technically he has right of way. Even if u want to make report, polis may not want to waste stationery. I was involved in same accident before. Other cars stopped for me to go but speeding motorbike crashed into my passenger door smashing the screen. My dad sitting sitting passenger side just got down and gave the motorcyclist a tight slap. No reports made cos motorbike has right of way.

What?! Most of the time, other motorcyclist will slow down and let the car in the yellow box go.

How can he have the right of way when there's a freekin yellow box allowing other motorists to slowly move over to the opposite lane.

******* was speeding and hit me.

He's going straight and u r making a turn, right? So he has right of way.
Also traffic rules say that vehicles must give way to others coming from the right.
In this sense, whether he was speeding or not is not relevant. When making a right turn, u failed to keep a "proper lookout" for vehicles coming from the right.

It's just like vehicles hitting u from behind. No matter what the circumstances, vehicle behind is always in the wrong. U baru dapat lesen kah?
*
No I got my license 2 years ago. Thanks for asking.

We'll see what the cops have to say about this. Everyone stopped except for him. He should not even be on the outside lane. Dipshit hit me and he's gonna pay for it.

Also, it was on yellow box in the city.

Last year my BLM was banged on the behind by motorbike, his is drunk, my rear screen smashed. goto report, lose rm300 saman.. police said ' big vs small vehical, big salah..case awak ini dua-dua kena saman'. so now, small accident, don't report. save the $$ for the repair.
*
WTF?!

Anyway, I don't plan to repair. Its just a small dent. Not even noticeable. Only visible if you look very closely.

Go report kind of waste of time.
It is just a slight scratch, which mean slight scratch of your wallet.

Be generous and forgiving , god will bless him .

Corrections. God will bless me and then curse the motorcyclist to hell (for an eternity).

Dude, you are in the wrong way, you fail to look to all directions before cutting across the lane. Now you want blessings for you and curses for eternity on a poor chap on a motorcycle who could have been killed by your careless and negligent action? I am sure God isn't blind. If there's any cursing to hell to do, it will be for careless negligent drivers like you who kill motorists all the time.
*
Motorcyclists are getting killed all the time for their own stupidity and recklessness. I don't have to do anything nor do I have a hand in any gruesome deaths that appear on the news. What you just said is completely asinine.

Stop trolling here dipshit and crawl back into the hole you came from.

Then u should ask all car manufacture why they make a cabin light.
FYI. It is personal  . And light on only door open .

Don't always look after practical purpose only u go ahead to do something . For me it is pathetic.
*
Just remember not to stare at it too much. I remember one guy from the Persona thread who was ogling at his pretty cabin lighting so much while driving that he forgot to look at the road and slammed into someone's backside.

Use RON 95 when i first bought my FL for 1st month. No diff if driving in the city coz traffic jam. Change to RON 97 after that. Noticeable increase in acceleration power especially overtaking and going uphill. RPM increase faster, pick up faster. Don't have step on the gas pedal too hard. Engine more quite and smoother. Now only use RON97.
Of coz these just my personal opinion. Other may feel otherwise.

Try refill RON97 for few more tank before decide.
*
Its psychological to me. I dunno. No difference at all. Only less petrol since its blardy expensive.
