Got a question:
If I change rims to 16", tyre will need to be changed too, so... what will the tire pressure be then?

It's in CVT. It emulates the 6-speed automatic transmission.
Watch this and you'll understand.

How to know whether CVT oil is leaking onot??
*
Spot it on the floor

QUOTE(mdyNani @ Sep 12 2011, 12:09 PM)
what can u expect. My 1.6fl got engine oil leak just after receive it from showroom.
Go back home, then park, after 2 hours want to go out jln, then spot oil on the floor.

go check at Jln Ipoh SC - Need to change half of the engine, but ddnt get it done yet. as they said just minor leak, and need to topup only + no time to go to KESAS Main SC..

2 solution
1. wait 1st...see the fog go away or not
2. yes...u can claim warranty if u want to but no guarantee it won't come back
maybe it's just new...wait 1st

Added on September 12, 2011, 2:48 pm
downhill surely can
and few possibilities why it's not stable when high speed
1. alignment and balancing
2. wind....it's at windy condition
when u drive in windy condition...the car will become unstable despite only 80-90KM/H
reason...the car is too high...too much wind going under our car and knocking our car
my blm....when suddenly its windy...no matter from front, left or right...the car will swivel to left and right
as if i was drunk...LOL
and 3. tyre not grippy enough...get a more grippy tyres
*
Don't say wind, even when a super fast bus passes by also kinda like goyang-goyang edy sweat.gif

yes...u stop at traffic light
a big bus or lorry going 90KM/H pass u...the car will goyang
the car's under have to much space
but wind condition is more dangerous..the car will swivel...steering will follow it...u need to control it
so the car is high...got pros and cons also la
*
Got reason to lower the car and masuk sport springs brows.gif tongue.gif

Anyway, just got back from fetching my car.
They:

1. Stop leak
2. Erase and check trouble code (dunno wat trouble code, forgot to ask)
3. Adjust petrol pipe at fire wall

The results I didn't really notice yet coz my mind was clouded by something else... will update later.

the car still jerking when moving slow? (2km/h to 5km/h)(jam situation)
*
I didn't notice coz just now I drove very very very slow... so, I didn't press the accelerator when moving from a stop. Later I'll be going somewhere, I'll let you know if it's still there. But I'm not putting my hopes high cause I used to drive my friend's Mini (IINM, it uses CVT), jerking when moving from a stop, I guess it could be it's CVT's characteristic. sleep.gif

Mini should be AMT though....

CVT should be very smooth, if jerking issue occurred, gearbox has big issue and need to repaired.
*
Nope. Mini One uses ZF VT1F which is a CVT smile.gif

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Sep 12 2011, 10:26 PM)
It is the characteristic. Dont force a non-living thing to change. You have to change (applies to all CVT users here too). Try to get the timing right because once you release the brakes when at D mode, the CVT will need some time to do some calculation before start rolling. Those jerks are caused by excessive throttle input during and after the calculation completes and when the throttle was released (engine braking engaged) due to stationary traffic in front.

Happy Birthday. Just curious, how Zandalarians™ celebrate birthdays? tongue.gif
*
It is the characteristic but... after SC adjust fuel pipe or something, I have to say, acceleration is waaaaaayyy better... got the rubber band effect a bit, but just a bit... thumbup.gif

p/s: Thanks for the wish. We Zandalarians eat maivi driverz fo' celebrationz... om nom nom nom...

p/s/s: Shell more kilometer ah? hmm.gif

Thanks, its a typo... buying a new SAGA, well, not actually buying, i'm going to get it this afternoon rclxms.gif will be joing the club then... hehe...
thanks for the reply, and i have several questions, where do i check for

3. oil leakage

and for

5. press the plastic paddings on dashboard and both corners, which part is this, i dont quite actually know, is it just the edge of the dashboard?

and the jumper cable is listed in the price, so, ya, will be checking the price... thanks again...
hoho.. since u mentioned it, is the spare tyre for FLX the same size or smaller sized spare tyre?  unsure.gif
*
Getting?? Wah... ini baru betul Even Better laugh.gif

To answer number 3; You will need to park on either cement or tiles overnight to check for leakage. If you park on tarmac, fluid will most likely evaporate before you could spot them.

It's okay to have a slightly smaller spare tire. It's a spare after all. Not meant to be used for a long period of time.
