stanleypua, you use what engine oil? petronas 15w40 ?

Got different using shell@esso@bhp@petronas? mind share the different..

me always pump shell & sumtime petronas..

shell not so nice...

so far only tried petronas and esso. I'm not bothered to pump shell because I already know the outcome will be even lethargic throttle response. Fu*k the FC gain, I'm not bothered about FC.

Petronas when car still new, throttle very responsive, pijak sikit sudah accidentally 110 on highway. Thena fter 1st service, cannot accidentally 110 already.

Esso, after my first service baru pump in one. At least feels better than Petronas Primax when pijak. The car is actually gaining speed instantly instead of coughing its speed up.

So kesimpulannya, pakai esso, pijak throttle, car terus fly. Pakai petronas, pijak throttle, car is like very lazy to gain speed.

to be honest...shell sarks big time...i dn't know what they add into their 95
no power + worst FC
but i agree their 97 is pretty good
for 95...esso for me still the best but certain station only
2nd petronas have become good since they launch 95 extra....the FC is better compare to their last time primax, the fuel drinks like water
so, esso>petronas>shell...pretty much shell is at way back...won't pump it again

shell actually to gain good FC, is to drive like a tortoise. Do not do anything to compensate back the power loss, then you will get ridiculous FC figures. lol

car already suffering power loss then you pijak more to have the POWAHHHHH, car will surely eat more fuel at the end of the journey.

dunno. My working hours permits me to avoid all sorts of major traffic jam. XD

I go work 11am, balik 4pm. haha

IMHO the OLD Shell V-Power was really good...b4 RON95 came along! Good power & kilos!

Now gave up liao.

Present day? Feel many factors in play. Not juz brand. Station? Tank in station? Supply? God knows wat else!
Wat yu get depends more on luck than anything else...

btw got few person selling saga fl side mirror autoflip with relay + paint at 7xx++ - 800+ per pair.. i wonder is it for upcoming model or aftermarket one??

Nut case. Felt power lost after 1000 service. Damn! How could this happen. Throttle in and don't response as good as before. Anyone encounter this issue after service your saga flx ?

Added on October 10, 2011, 8:45 pmMust use back pro care package shell nx7 10-40w. My mech say semi will make drag ur engine cuz its thicker . Good for engine but if I full throttle, petrol will drop vry fast.

If bring in own black oil, warranty for engine area which is engine down, engine oil leaking we will need to pay the cost

me encounter this "temporary" problem after every service (10k now)...

may be the engine is getting used to the changed oil???

And pam tyre also dun know how much pressure. Accidently found many features on oem hu. What a surprise to me .

All petrol the same I don't trust petronas becuz they are export Quality to oversea and lousy petrol at current market. Info obtain from insider believe or not up to you. For me shell offer me clean and smooth ride as I'm.not that hardcore. If planning to travel outstation, I Pam 97 for highway ride.

My opinion, city drive 95 , efficiency . Highway to outstation 97 butterly smooth and good response

bro is the shell nx7 10-40w fully syn engine oil??
i'm oso suffering with the same situation u met,
which felt power lost after 1000 service
n i can felt my engine more noisy & kasar also

any good engine oil to recommend?
i dun mind to use expensive oil, even endless i oso pakai LOL

Did u frequently change engine oil brand or type?
