most probably red bellied pacu

should turn into a freshwater setup,imagine a shoal of Hydrocynus goliath and a shoal of Hydrolycus armatus all above 3ft

My dream fish is mermaid, not 100% fish thou...

i saw a shop selling aba-aba for rm18, marble eel rm18, and aligator gar rm12.00...
aba-aba is very elegant

The sales said aba-aba max 1 ft but i google is 5ft+..
maybe i'll juz get channa bleheri or other dwarf sp.

pacu and piranha quite easy to differentiate, for pacu..


-the nose part is straight
-the chin is curved
-human-like teeth

agreed with joshua paddlefish is a very bad choice of fish..not only it grows big it's also a coldwater fish so u'll need
monstrous uber large chiller!! On the topic my dream fish would be all channas on their own species tanks
including the extinct one

i know that my cousin cultivates sturgeon fish in his father's farm. Imported from taiwan i think, not too sure about it. LOL but they have lots of it!

Even the mermaid is half a fish, thats definitely not a fish beer8bottles!

Duh. Of course I know that. But newts or salamanders are usually found in aquarium shops, so I thought that maybe I should try my luck since Macrotrix is like some kind of super fish sourcer.

The same reason why ix3Rukia wanted an axolotl. Aquarium shop people should know suppliers.

this fish can cost you a lot of money
i only able to see it in real once, but its not albino..it cost RM8+++

The one in the pics is a leucistic Forsteri, not an albino bro. And depending on who you talk to, normals can go for as low as USD60+. The person selling the one you saw must've added a lot of zeros behind the actual value of it.

aligator gar for rm12.00?? you sure? which shop? i wanna buy

rm12 usually spotted gar. can buy it at International aquatic. real alligator gar i saw at natural aquatic, about rm 28 for 6". and rm38 same size at salayang baru.

c.way..i think u have 2-3 more species u not mention it in here lol...

Aro will cost me a lot of space..any succed breeding aro in tank? ...maybe keep small2 mouthbrooder like unimac group or channa's..already keeping some channa gachua juvi..keeping them since they a still little. but coccina gang are very nice.

hahaha, me still not bored of coccina group after so long XD, kinda depends on people I will say, some mega senior still obsess with certain species/group of wild betta that are not as "majestic"

breeding is one thing, but after that, main challenge to me is to continue the blood line of the species pair, can say there's not many who can stay and go beyond F2 of wild bettas

after have a deep thought on betta species...i decide to focus on malaysia coccina group..yeah totally hard for newbie like me.
totally different from keeping splenden group or the showie's...but for me, Malaysia coccina group are worth to try...

brother.i have one but unfortunately not for sale.xianlong shah alam used to sell them at juvenile size. dunno if they still have them somewhere in their huge shop.do you know r08 at pandan indah there?in that area there is another shop who has 2 of these in their show tank full of red parrots. go now and grab them!!
