Guys, I just simply dismantle my car key, and found this black pc inside the housing. If i remove it, are we still able to unlock/lock and start our car?

QUOTE(Poadster @ Sep 27 2011, 01:44 PM) The tech is the same as any card access systems used in offices and homes.... even my 16 year old car have it... The small black thingy contains a circuit that contains a string of codes. The ignition ring contains a reader that detects the signal code from the key fob. If it matches, the ignition circuit will be "connected" and you can start the car.... The immobilizer set is expensive, was told it RM1300+++ to change.... if you lose a key, you need to change the whole ignition starter set too as this reader will only read ONE immobilizer code.... so you are warned not to lose the key... Brother Steven, Are you sure it is so expensive? I can get it less than RM200... genunie one...

QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Sep 27 2011, 08:48 PM) Basically no 1 wouls want hot air in the car. But 1.8 comes with manual. thats why the range bigger.. in winter days (not msia). U have to blow hotter air to normalize the temperature. u have to preset it manually. For 2.0 its auto climate. basically u tell the ac controller wat temperature u want it to be in ur cabin. the inner sensor will pick up the reading and adjust it. no 1 wants 30 celcius in the car rite? Can we change our Manual type to Auto Climate type? Will it change the setting itself? Anyone??

QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Sep 27 2011, 10:31 PM) Can.. But u have to add 2 sensor .. 1 in front of ur dashboard. that is to detect how much sunlight comimg into the cabin.. the other 1 is the temperature sensor beside ur steering there Thanks brother for your input.. But what if we don't add the 2 sensors? will it still work ?
