Wow talk about dell giving malaysians the boot! They won't release the xps 15 here!!


Now this is what i hate.. They knew they were not gonna bring them over yet they said nothing and left ppl like me to keep having hope.. F**K DELL!

Who knows? Dell Malaysia probably predicted that Malaysians won't be interested in these units... and well... seems like they're wrong

The plain fact is dell knew lots of people weren't going to buy the xps 15 in this region of the world because it's overpriced. in the u.s. it goes almost $2000 (highest specs) and the main problem people have with the xps15 especially is that it doesn't have enough the performance to justify the price no matter how nice it looks. the xps14 costs > rm4000 so xps15 would've most likely been >= rm5000. lots of people would've been turned off by that especially when the inspiron 15r is better in all aspects except looks, and the 'target' market dell are aiming for (those who want windows machines that look as good as macbook pros) aren't stupid/desperate enough to shell out that money for a machine the performs less than a macbook pro. i personally was very interested in the xps15 when it was rumoured months ago, but after seeing the price on release day, interested just disappeared instantly.

Dell Vostro has always been expensive    but the built quality is good for business line 
What is Dell Latitude aiming towards? Business as well?
