Why want to fix to 1.8GHz? Normally it would downclock to 800MHz when idle..

Maybe yes maybe no, depends your usage,
if your usage always push the notebook keep using 2.3GHz, then you will get more battery life, but if your notebook mostly on 800MHz, then less battery life.. |
