Please Do Not share out this brochure, just make more people confuse
It's not Lenovo Official Brochure, it's designed by PIKOM PC FAIR dealer Booth 419

Lenovo Y480 5934-1161 original spec come with DOS only, the W7HP and 8GB is "add-on" by the dealer only.
Y480 come with 1600mhz ram, but they provide 1333mhz ram  rclxub.gif

Thanks for sharing bro!  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif
I din't know that this official brochures can be unofficial  doh.gif
*
Same do me being misleaded by unofficial brochure in Lenovo FB. doh.gif
Worst thing is they pair with additional 4GB ram with 1333mhz which is cheaper, not cover by Lenovo warranty and reduce the performance. shakehead.gif

Its better to get the freeDos version & upgrade ourself. thumbup.gif

Asus new product guide Oct-Nov 2012.
http://my.asus.com/Static_WebPage/Product_Guide/
Not much suprise except Nexus 7 is quiet tempting. brows.gif

After six months Nvidia launched the new 28nm Kepler 600 series mobile GPU, its sad that only a limited new GPUs are available and the rest are rebadged old 40nm Fermi 6xx GPUs. The same thing go to AMD new Southern Islands HD7000 series mobile GPU with limited choices. shakehead.gif

This is mainly due to TSMC 28nm manufacturing are not able to keep up with the high demand. Its sad that consumer need to tradeoff with the old tech due to limited supplies. TSMC is expanding its 28nm manufacturing with improved yield, we can see more new Kepler GPU are coming, such as GTX675MX, GTX670MX, GT645M & GT625M. drool.gif

AMD & Nvidia is having a very good competition in the desktop GPU but lack of competition in the mobile GPU. Hope AMD will come out more mobile GPUs to compete with Nvidia so that we can enjoy a better deal and more choices. May be it will happen in next year 2013 when they launch the Sea Islands where TSMC 28nm manufacturing is matured. rclxms.gif
