Howbout Samsung Q470 :

http://notebook.pconline.com.cn/testing/J_...03/2713966.html

14" 1366x768 with GT650M, weight around 2.2KG.
If you can handle the resolution, it should be ok. I think.  tongue.gif

Wah, really a lot of goodies coming out laugh.gif
Thanks for sharing bro~~

Actually I'm just looking for a good, normal (non-ULV) subnotebook which doesn't need to have a dGPU tongue.gif
There's not much to choose from at the moment..

I've seen it, and loving it to be honest haha
Just that I'm not very confident with their after sales support...
Which leaves only the Dell Vostro V131 and Toshiba Portege R830 tongue.gif

Regarding Toshiba Protege R830, what are the differences? as in is it only processor? main usage would be mobility, office usage of spamming outlook, word, excel and powerpoint as well as presentation to office.

Portégé R830-1004UB/UR/U, i5-2410M
Portégé R830-1056UB/UR/U, i5-2430M
Portégé R830-2007U, i5-2520M

I believe i5 would for sure be sufficient for such usage, what say you?
I manage to find http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Toshib...ok.55237.0.html which is the i3 processor, cant find the i5, any idea?

EDIT: found the i5, http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Toshib...ok.58664.0.html but it seems the i3 rating with % seems much higher in terms of average use.

Just reporting on the notebook's power consumption for web browsing and minor application starts, one hour can eat up to 40% of the total available battery power with the screen brightness set to the third highest level.

**Acer V3-571G.

Yeah, different model with mere slight specification difference hmm.gif
The performance difference is not that much in between i5-2410/30/50M... so you might want to go for the older models since they will be much cheaper laugh.gif

I'll check that later.

The temperature of the processor hovers around 42 ~ 46C without the Cooler Master NotePal U3 cooler, but in an air-conditioned room. Will check the temperatures in a non-air-conditioned room in the very near future.

Could do that, but I'll probably need to get more shots of the stuff first before attempting to make a thread for the V3 users tongue.gif.

THere's no official statements on the requirements right? hmm.gif

Still, the GT630M is quite a decent GPU, and should be able to handle the game at least at mid settings I guess hmm.gif

Dota 2 Recommended System Requirements:

* Memory: 1 GB for XP / 2GB for Vista
* Graphics: DirectX 9 compatible video card with Shader model 3.0. NVidia 7600, ATI X1600 or better
