HP Dv6-6001TX has AMD HD6770(1gb ddr5) while DV6-6108TX has AMD HD6770(2gb ddr5)
is gpu ram very important for gaming?
if thats so..then.. GT555M(2gb) > HD6770(1gb) ?  unsure.gif
*
No, there is no difference in performance between 2GB and 1GB HD6770M. The amount of ram is not important, what matter is the memory bus width and type.

None. I play Tropico 4 recently and it barely use >500MB. Most of the time it used around 300MB-400MB of graphic memory.
Higher capacity doesn't mean it's faster. Like i said.. higher memory bus width(128bit,192bit,256bit) and memory type(GDDR3,GDDR5) are more important.

Applying thermal paste mostly leads to voiding your warranty since you need to unscrew the screw with sticker on it.. Don't think shops in LYP provide this service... If wanna do also do it urself la, just need to be careful when disassembling your laptop...

I have done it on my laptop as well.. Didn't really help much for my case though...

RM10000 is also considered as >RM3500 o laugh.gif
Anyway, can consider these:
HP *RM3k without Beats~
Dv6-6001TX, i7-2630QM + AMD HD6770@RM3499 [2.63kg]; Beats headphones
Dv6-6114TX, i7-2630QM + AMD HD6770 + BluRay@RM3799 [Beats][2.63kg], [4GB RAM] Beats headphones, HP optical mouse, HP 500GB external HDD

Or top up until RM3.9k for
Asus G53Sx-SZ039v, i7-2630QM + Nvidia GTX560M (2GB)@RM3999, backlit keyboard, gaming backpack & mouse

Perhaps you can try asking at the official HP outlets? hmm.gif
But I think only Garage Sales members offer the flexibility of not including the Beats headphones? laugh.gif

HP DV6-6001TX - great spec, gpu giv lower temp
Asus N55sf - lower cpu, great sound system, bad keyboard(for gaming), higher resolution (900p)

oh 1 more model.. Sager NP5165 - same spec with N55sf, highest resolution(1080p), but comes with freeDOS, price is RM3199<-need order i think
