Hi I'm planning to get my first gaming laptop. Went to survey at a couple of shops. A shopkeeper recommended me asus 53v for 2.4k . Is it worth it ? Other than that , any recommendations ? anyone have tested Lenovo G475 with processor AMD Athlon e300 dual core 1.3ghz?
how good is it? my uncle want to have a cheap laptop below rm1k.
it seems that i got no choice other than this model.

if HDMI Port is not important to you,i would recommend to get Toshiba Satellite C640-1057U which is RM1499 same specification as Lenovo G470 but come with 3 years warranty

I heard u like Assassin Creed. If u liek fiddling with drivers and spend some time to get the best out of your system.

will give you the best performance/price.

Pros:

• Can undervolt to lower temperature and increase battery life.
• Can overclock the CPU for more performance. (I'm not sure if the GPU is overclockable)
• Better discrete graphic compared to GT520M.

Cons:

• Crossfire driver support could be pain in the butt.
• No Crossfire support for DX9 game, so Assassin Creed is out. Only can use dGPU for that.
• PowerXpress need improvement. No indicator to show which GPU you are currently using.

I can't comment on the build quality since i never touch it.

If you don't like fiddling with the settings and drivers.. go for Marcus recommendation.
