I am also getting tab 7+ now while waiting gore 7.7 announce the price. If too expected will just stick to 7+

Spent 20 mins to test on the 7+ on 1080p MKV movie playback, OMG, so lagging !!

VitalPlayer + MKV file stored in 8GB MicroSD class 2 (may be this will be the bottleneck)

Anyone can share more on the testing outcome with class 6 or 10 MicroSD ?

Sold my ipad 2 already, waiting to buy this monster...

the apps and the microsd might be the contributor of the lagging... So far the best apps for mkv is moboplayer (free) and diceplayer (trial & paid)... and for decent playback might need class4 and above...

Huhu got already last thursday. Tired of waiting 7.7. However, later if 7.7 do came out, will consider to trade my 8.9 for this (if it's not more than 2k la)

Anyway, I bought a Class 10 32GB ready for the 7.7".

HUHUHUH.... nice~!!! ... I suggest u should try diceplayer trial first... previously I use moboplayer then cbought diceplayer after used the trial... they can handle HD file better..

Dont be surprised that even Class4 might suffer the same, but no to the same extend...

Tested with a friend who sent me a 500MB 8min 720P MKV. He kept telling me his S2 stutter once in a while compared to the smooth playback on my Note. I told him its the slow memory as I had Class 10. He copied it into the faster internal memory and indeed the stutter was gone. I think Class 6 and above possibly enough.

OMG... just checked. 7.7 is thinner by 2mm and lighter by 10gram... How could that be

Anyway, I had a hands on 7+ 8.9 and 10.1. All three are thin and light enough for me. 7+ is too small but quite nice factor. 8.9 is a bit too big but also quite nice form factor. 10.1 is too big but is nice for movies. Anyway... Tested all three at lowyat, no matter is 8.9 and 10.1 with tegra or 7+ with exynos... The homescreen transition is not smooth enough. From video review of 7.7, it is super smooth. Why does this happen
Technically, 7.7 and 7+ is very same. 7.7 is just 0.2GHz higher clock but 7+ resolution isn't HD, quite much lower resolution should stress the SoC less right? Theoretically, 7+ shouldn't lag in any aspect especially in the UI. Scrolling from one page in homescreen to another page is really not as up to my expectation. Wonder how 7.7 will be. It's weird... When galaxy note can take all that easily with no lag(but on gingerbread instead of honeycomb), why tab 7 plus can't?

Btw, lowyat SEP said 7.7 will be here next year.

Heard will selling more exp then note...

then i bet no so many will get that 7.7 lolz ..

lagginess might be due to the software itself as some of the driver might be coded nicely between os n hardware...

yeah... ppl will turn to 7+

But 7+ screen res is a lot lower. hmm
