so the runner all throw away? i kept all my runner in good condition laugh.gif doh.gif

i keep the runners too. you never know when you'll need some coloured plastic piece to fix broken parts. used them for gluing, patching and whatnot.

i don't quite seem to fancy transformable gundams - cause methinks more often than not their 'transformation' is rather half arsed.

now macross is a totally different story altogether!
*
agreed, macross kits have a better plane mode than gundams + valk mode. thumbup.gif

QUOTE(rihuhs @ Sep 12 2011, 03:49 PM)
whoa. that one is quite hard to find. and pricey sweat.gif
..if you can get it right. took me several attempts to properly make the parts of my VF-25S fits nicely together in fighter mode. overall it's a good looking kit! sadly not enough skills and tools to make it look better though doh.gif

and the decals are killing me! been a few weeks after completed the build and I'm only halfway through with the decals shocking.gif
*
haha...i got a supermessiah like in feb-mac this year. up to this day, i've only decaled the super parts. the main body is still "naked" and on display. sweat.gif

hobby and collectibles come as lower priority than real life commitments. when u hv family to feed, house and car loans to pay,... and the stupid PTPTN to curse, have to plan properly lo.

but life's short, jz buy what u like la. jz make sure u r responsible for the consequences (like no money to pay bank. hahaha, or worse, no money to get married...then ur gf will chop u and made the pieces into runners :| )
*
haiyaa...you borrow their money, isn't it your "commitment" to pay it back? doh.gif

Ya,but my sinanju also a ver. Ka.still no problem with dat.i think they want 2 make unicorn better articulation but then loosen the part as the joint made very fragile i think
*
well, sinanju is one of the best MG. it's so good that there's no need for any other version (only ver ka). unicorn sucks so bad that they need to have several versions, but then it still sucks. doh.gif thanks to the crazy transformation. but then again, most non-transforming MS are better than the transforming ones anyway.

err, 2 version only, not several, lol

Sinanju is almost perfect, except 1 thg worse than Unicorn
Unicorn parts loose fall off can put back, but Sinanju weak waist joint, once broken gone case d sleep.gif
*
more than one = several whistling.gif

well, i think most model kits would have an "Achilles' heel" somewhere in the design. with sinanju, it's "Sinanju's waist". laugh.gif although i don't think it's "that" fragile, if you're careful.

Several is actually more than two.

Anyway, anyone interested to get MISB Metal Build 00 Gundam?

just kidding dude
but its meant to be on airborne display right?

yah chriswoo after seeing the manual it is very complicated
hope my experience with MG HI-Nu(although not a transformation kit but it is my hardest kit yet)
will help me  sweat.gif
*
you should try one of the macross frontier kits too. those things are a pain to assemble. and the decals will really test your patients. sweat.gif

hahaha... make sure you top coat the kit after applying the water decals... you don't want the decals to peel off while transformation tongue.gif
*
was thinking of that, but it's been nearly a year since i bought the kit and still haven't finish the decal. cry.gif

i finished the kits within the same week i bought it, but the decals took months and still applying. shakehead.gif

btw, what top coat would best fit a macross vf-25* kit anyway? i flat coated my bandai 1/72 vf-1s kit (variable kit- finally managed to get this old kit), looks good as it is white. but i think flat coat won't look so good on a vf-25s.

PG Wing would be the least PG-like of all PGs i thk, maybe its just me  hmm.gif
*
probably because the MG WZC is so much more cooler with the expendable wings + a heap of decals. flex.gif

PG WZC is just too plain.

that's like the bone, doesn't need much time to assemble it
i've read somewhere that it will not take more than 3 minutes but i've spent more than 3 min... hmm.gif
the major appealing factor for RG is the fully assembled appearance & articulation
me too dont care much about how inner frame looks.. whistling.gif
*
you gotta be kidding hmm.gif

inner frame rock! (granted that's an MG). i like this frame so much i decided to just leave it on display like that. naked and no armour. laugh.gif

i think the last 2 look the best smile.gif

yeah, but unlike the zaku, sinanju's armour makes it look even more intimidating. as such, it's hard decision whether to keep a sinanju naked or armoured.

it confuses me at some point

i somehow don dare to take the armor off to show inner frame. tried once and something broke. luckily it was aile strike sad.gif

that tends to happen. experienced the same thing with my Titan Mark ii and vf-25s super messiah. just need to be extra careful. sweat.gif

mmmmmm meaning u all assembled the whole inner frame first?

i normally just follow the guide 100% tongue.gif

by the way, any idea the canister for FA Unicorn ---- white/black color?
*
either way works. i use to follow the manual 100% too. but then you can't admire the entire inner frame(like how dalong.net pictured them). then i decided to just make the inner frame 1st, leave it on display a few days/weeks then continue with the armour.

i think this is good practice, in such a way that it makes you more familiar with the frame. so if you want to take the entire armour off next time, either for display or painting or etc, you know which part to pull off. icon_rolleyes.gif

How about out of box extra finish version or titanium finish gunpla, Do they chip easily too? I am thinking of getting the rx78-2 Mg special coating version if i can play with it (i had a painted one which im too afraid to play)
*
extra finish is quite durable. problem is getting rid of the nub marks. rclxub.gif
