man, I want that MKII 2.0. but wonder if still got stock at warehouse tomorrow, if got can someone help me get it? icon_question.gif
otherwise hve to get it from af hobby sweat.gif

Why would you think only a handful of people managed to get the mk-II and Scopedog? They are raided by AF this morning at 9am! All 3 of his promotional items are from todays Litt Tak sales.

This is a review of Bandai 1/20 Scale Model #05 ATM-09-ST Scopedog Berkoff Squad.

It comes with manual booklet, 20+(2+2)identical sprues (P and Q), cable, stickers for lenses and water decals.
Sizing in at +/- 8 inches, it comes equipped with short rifle (barrel can interchanged with longer ones with added buttstock), missile launcher and grappling hook.

Notes:

I personally feel that it's a shame that such details in inner frame are covered by its armor, which by its design are simplistic. Snap fitted with no stickers, decals and clear parts attached. It's big alright. For size comparison (with disregard to scale), it's hands are huge comparative to MG. The rifle is big, missile launcher is big, the suit itself is big. Attaching all 40 rivets can be tedious. Sturdy and balanced, there is no sagging. Joints are stiff, but I think that's good. Armor pieces such as wristguards, ankleguards and skirt armors are loose. But I think that's how it supposed to be. Just be careful on fragile items such as the antenna and the inner piece of the helm. Lots of undergate, which is good in minimizing nub marks.
Oh I got it cheap too tongue.gif

Well, Yen is going up so eventually plamo from Japan will be more expensive due to the exchange rate.

Most shops now still selling ex-stock at current price, but I have noticed some increase in re-stocked plamo already (i.e. SD Kshatriya). If you have something you plan to get, do so quickly or you might need to pay extra 10-20% for the same thing (e.g. to pay RM188 for Delta Plus which is @ RM158 at the moment)...

you should try one of the macross frontier kits too. those things are a pain to assemble. and the decals will really test your patients.  sweat.gif

hahaha... make sure you top coat the kit after applying the water decals... you don't want the decals to peel off while transformation tongue.gif

was thinking of that, but it's been nearly a year since i bought the kit and still haven't finish the decal.  cry.gif

i finished the kits within the same week i bought it, but the decals took months and still applying. shakehead.gif

btw, what top coat would best fit a macross vf-25* kit anyway? i flat coated my bandai 1/72 vf-1s kit (variable kit- finally managed to get this old kit), looks good as it is white. but i think flat coat won't look so good on a vf-25s.

It's all depend on personal liking wink.gif All 3 types works well smile.gif
