one word for the Zeta Plus is it's TALL. well, taller than most Seed/00 series.. not sure about UC though, but it's pretty much on par when thinking of what time it was coming from laugh.gif

the transformation is not that complicated, and it have several pegs and notches that is very useful to hold and lock the transformable parts together (unlike some other transformable kits *cough*macross*cough*) so you ended up with a sturdy mecha in either modes (MS/waverider).. one thing to put it off its the articulations is not that great, since it's quite an old kit.. and oh, it does not have waist articulation so the poses you'll be able to do are quite limited.. overall it's a good looking kit

Thanks for the info, i liked tall MS...Zaku Hi-Zack & GP03S from UC era have almost the same height as my NG Destiny & Dynames...I dont mind articulation as I like to pose it standing... thumbup.gif Honestly, I loved the so called massive Beam SmartGun!

looks niceeeee. UC kits are love!! only gripe is the lack of front skirts, and a rather plain looking thigh section

i don't quite seem to fancy transformable gundams - cause methinks more often than not their 'transformation' is rather half arsed.

now macross is a totally different story altogether!

yeah, not a big fan of transformable kits too. most of their modes are complicated to transform to and doesnt look anything special. some are good though. lol.

..if you can get it right. took me several attempts to properly make the parts of my VF-25S fits nicely together in fighter mode. overall it's a good looking kit! sadly not enough skills and tools to make it look better though doh.gif

and the decals are killing me! been a few weeks after completed the build and I'm only halfway through with the decals shocking.gif

white unicorn zeta is SUPER not justifiable. all they did is add a sheet of decals, and its now 'limited'. pffffftttttt

gimme a normal zeta, and a sheet of waterslides and the result will be the same. icon_rolleyes.gif

cos Zeta Plus n S/Ex-S r frm the same story, Gundam Sentinel novel
n they r all designed by Katoki, his 1st time designing Gundams

well, i said b4
if u design a transformable mecha with the humanoid shape mode(MS mode) 1st(eg Gundam), then only design the transformed plane mode, its not easy to have it in plane shape n hide the limbs, n especially head

if design the plane mode 1st(eg Macross) then only the humanoid mode(Battroid), u'll have the humanoid mode with plane looking parts here n there, especially the nose cone n wings

so u cant reli have best of both worlds

Saviour is frm Seed Destiny, n its RED, not purple, lol
n Saviour's transformation is like child's play compare to Zeta!

Majority of MSes have height of 18m (18cm when converting to 1/100). Zeta is about 19m tall, and almost all MS from CCA to Unicorn timeline are taller than 19m. After Unicorn, MS's height become smaller to 16-15m (V, Crossbone. F91). Earlier AU series (G, Wing, X) has average height of 16-17m). Then starting from Seed, the average height return back to 18m
