Newbie needs training n sparring...n tips!, a post for newbies

Just got my game last month n just completed the normal campaign n starting off the challenges, but still need more drill on the game especially the builds and the units  BTW dislike zerg, would prefer terran n protoss, but seriously need some experienced players or pros to help (read a few posts and still don't even know what's micro n macro is all about!)  Have watched a couple of replays and asking should memorize the procedures?  But still need some friends to play with in the custom game to point out my weaknesses and what to do as my only friend in game is less likely to play with me and ask me to train more... Anyone?? HELP needed...greatly appreciate...I forgot my ID code, will reply below when I reach home later... add me pls...or some tips for newbs... It's no good finding a practice partner now since you are more inexperienced comparing to the other players in Bnet. Best is to play, save the replay and send it to us so we can help. Welcome to the big stage. This is the best game ever I personally think, if you want to just have fun, hit that ladder button, get roll then see where u stand and start learning from repairing mistakes Or go activate your NA account; play custom orbit map 2v2. There is a lot newbie playin that there, brush up on built. If you want to observe ppl playing, go NA, go custom game, join 1v1 obs Xel Naga map to see ppl play non stop. Mostly diamond above level on that map. SEA, go nerdlings channel or Malaysia channel, ask ppl to let u observe their friendly match. Have fun. |

u protoss right? follow this when you are laddering a game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntN5krvoxtofollow it as close as possible, play it repeatedly to master it. in about 30 games you will be in diamond (i guess lol) plat or diamond at least la if you can micro. |

well,if u like toss,go ahead then.
& like others r saying,go ladder.get ur placement league,& work from there.just skip the 50 unranked games & straight to placement matchup...

Added on September 8, 2011, 9:52 amstill dislike a LOSS is recorded there whenever there is one in the league... wait what???? u expect to go into the ladder and dont lose at all? its normal to have a winrate of 50% which means u win 100 lose 100 games, less than 50% means u r under performing, anythibng over 50% is good. even IMMVP or Nestea dont have 100% win rate -.- everyone will lose a game or 2. this is starcraft, not std 1 exam papers. p/s protoss is the weakest race of all 3. highest win rate matchup is PvP 50% |

FYI insane AI play show me the money 1. They don't use strat like player does. So you will still get played by players even u played with AI lol. now i know why blizzard does that, because there are alot ppls like you lol.
i personally would like to know how many losses i had to keep in tact with my progress last time.
for those who wants, download sc2gears to analyze ur game records.

Added on October 13, 2011, 5:24 pmgeez...i still cant get my terran build order correct on time... been playing that challenge defend gambit for 2 days, on normal time somemore! but still couldn't get gold... n keep losing in league...just won 1 game out of 5, but that win i was using zerg though...unexpectedly...xD
