Why are people getting so overhyped about it??

N3DS is region-locked and most unfortunately MH3 G is very unlikely to be released outside of Japan.
If Capcom is making wise marketing decision, they would have localized MHp3rd already and MH3G should have been ported to PSP instead.4.4 million copies sold doesnt lie.

You'd better be begging anf praying that Capcom will decides to localize MH3 G otherweise you will have to buy a Japanese N3DS just to play it.And MH 4 isnt gonna come out anytime soon.

Region-lock thingy is to protect one region software and hardware market....
something localization thing is not determine by the publisher.... is the s0ny or ninty decide it...
they wont released a new title as the old one still have market potential...
for example the last Monster hunter Freedom unite released to NA after 1 year it released in japan... so we dont aspect it(3rd) will come out sooner in NA (it may jump to vita)..
usually a ninty (DS) translation is faster than the s0ny....
just cross our finger and pray it will reach NA...
BTW rumor stated that.. the translation for tri-G has began with the production of the jap version....
i really hope that....

i think we dun have any issue buying a Japanese 3ds just for this game.

oh and localized 3G for 3ds is most likely as well since wii version has it. it just the matter of time. the reason i think they dun or not yet localized the psp version because the sales on unite didn't meet their expectation.

Hiroshi Kawano of Sony has said that “at present, there is no talk of a new Monster Hunter coming to PlayStation,” which makes it sound like Monster Hunter 4 may be an exclusive title for the 3DS. It could simply be something Capcom isn’t working on right away, but it’s still a hopeful sign.

also on todays note

Monster Hunter Tri G at the Tokyo Game Show and photos of the manual have been posted online. What’s interesting though is the manuals are in English. This might be so the international press can understand the controls, but some people are taking it as a hint that there may already be plans to localise the game. It’s not a lot to go on, but some hope is better than no hope.
