$84.5*3.3= RM 278.85 and its total weight including packaging is 2 lbs, I've bought b4, they use the USPS flat rate medium box.

as i already mention very clear on the previous message this is not my calculation BUT if from forwarding company service to help your order to be shipping back from USA to MSIA with DHL courier company.if you mention the above charges u calculated yourself is correct unless u are staying at US and the order shipped it to your address in USA.
Do take noted that you are buying from oversea NOT from local. if u said u bought it b4, why not just order it direct by yourself ? so u could save more cost

I know it's the direct conversion from USD to RM to US Address, but you put it "$84.50 (RM 501.00)", I suppose I'll know when the item arrives.


I don't know, I didn't buy it myself cause, maybe my friend not in US anymore to help me?

I bought b4 from US to Malaysia, item is just 2 lbs, item is 1kg the most, not 2.5 to 3.5kg, and dimensions 11.5"x12"x3.5" or 11 1/4"x8 3/4"x6", how can it be charged USD $67.31, and max 3- 5 business week ETA? Maybe you need to check with your forwarder again, for 2 lbs and those dimensions above.

Calculating Shipping Weight
Shipping weight is determined by volumetric and actual weight of a shipment – whichever is greater.
What is volumetric weight?
Volumetric weight is the ‘volume’ a package occupies. (ie, the physical size of a package).
What is actual weight?
The actual physical weight of a package is its actual weight measured in kilograms.

In international shipping, how much space a package occupies (volumetric weight) in a cargo hold is as important as how much it weights (actual weight). Large packages, even if they are light, take up more space in an aircraft. This is why shipping companies take the volumetric weight into consideration.

If the volumetric weight exceeds the actual weight, you will be charged the volumetric weight.
Calculating Volumetric Weight
Volumetric weight is calculated by the length x height x width of a package and dividing the result with a volumetric factor.


Please note that in some cases, shipping weight indicated on your merchant order form confirmation is based on ground shipping guidelines and does not correspond to international air shipping criteria.

Domestic shipping calculations :-

1. do not factor in volumetric weight measurements or
2. utilize a different volumetric factor for calculating volumetric weight

ofcoz i do earn a little profit, otherwise why am i open the thread and help who wanna buy things from oversea ?
Sign up to a forwarders company also they need to earn our money too not F.O.C to HELP us re pack the parcel / paperwork for kastam to clear & etc before shipping the parcel back to msia.
i don't have friends or relative staying in USA. and i am not staying in USA as well lolz..
I guess you should understand more about it
How about you try ask other USA spree seller here about your orders ? i don;t mind about the question you have your right to compare.
