QUOTE(barca96 @ Jul 27 2020, 05:48 PM) why did you get 2 jabs on the same day? from what i understand if it is at a private clinic/paed/hospital, they'll combine so that there will be less visits and jabs for the baby. thats exactly the reason. less visit, less fear for the baby my wife and i are scared of going to kk for jabs given the current pandemic situation. sakit dompet

QUOTE(Cheeky @ Jul 29 2020, 08:20 AM) Vaccination schedule for children is pretty much the same for Malaysia and some other developed countries. You can compare them by finding this online. They are safe la. I have my baby all that is listed according the schedule. Actually, my feeling is that if you child is not vaccinated, then they should not be allowed in daycare/schools because there is risk that they spread those diseases around to other kids who have not had a chance to be vaccinated yet. never doubted safety issue as we went there for pregnancy check ups and jaundice check for baby. just curious about the timeline for vaccinations.

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Jul 30 2020, 03:11 PM) No. My mom looks after my sons... Why do I waste money on extra vaccines less prone for that sickness. imagine your son sick for 1 week, medicine & doc visit cost you how much? not to mention have to take day leave for that.

It really depends on individual. My eldest son always sick whenever teething and after going for vaccination while my younger son had none of that at all.

QUOTE(acsl_jc @ Jul 28 2020, 02:40 PM) Take the compulsory vacc in KK and the optional ones in private clinic. Save the money! That is what I did too. Tried to complete all compulsory + optional vacc as per recommended by doctor. Hopefully they suffer less due to certain sickness in future.
