and really lucky coz i ride motorbike there @ 5:30am, road dark, suddenly near entrance liao got few dog chase me wanna bite me, i once feel i gonna KIA liao
lucky those dog din continue chase me, coz short distance ahead is the fenced entrance of the damn, i have no way to run liao

how much liter of water you brought?

usually i bring 3 to 4liter. can collect from sungai and boil also. bring chinese tea to hisap hisap slow slow when resting after meal... syok.

i bring

2x 1.5 liter
1 x600ml
1 x 500ml 100plus

1x chocolate bar, but did not eat (just in case get lost, will be sustainable energy source. learn from the british soldier get lost on mount KK incident )
8 pack appolo-like layers cake, finished 6 pack
1 x mr.potato chips, all feed the greedy quarrels, 3 of them at the summit

but even for day hikes, always be prepared for any eventualities

so for myself, day hikes i would bring:

2L water (Platypus hydration bladder)
1L water canteen (with canteen)
1 box hexamine + lighter
1pack ciggie (for stopping bleeding in case of leech bite, and syokness)
1 knife (A MUST in all jungle hikes!!!! if lost you can make tinder, shelter etc.)
Poncho (for rain cover, or as makeshift tent etc)
Medic kit (with antiseptic, plaster, bandages, tigerbalm, alcohol wipes)
alcohol hand gel
2x snickers
1x maggie mee
1x bun
1x chinese tea



kampung adidas u need to be careful as it has no ankle support.

The pictures is so scary one .. later use DSLR ...
