Hi Guys,

So another car got scratched thread, sorry about this. Anyway here's the picture of it, kinda deep can see primer:

The scratch is around 4-5 inches, can feel the scratch using fingernails. sad.gif

So may I know can this be fixed by polishing? Anyway to get rid of it other than repainting? If yes, can recommend any shop that can do this?

Thank you guys for taking your time into this. notworthy.gif

don't think it caused by fingernails must be keys or coins
polishing job supposed to be able to cover that up

Hi Fowl,

Thanks for the respond. No it was definitely not caused by fingernail, I meant can feel it using fingernail tongue.gif

I do hope can cover this up by polishing, do you know any good shop can recommend?

TS,
Since primer can already be seen, its unlikely tat mere polishing n buffing will enuf to cover it.

Best solution is to polish off as much foreign residues there, n depending on ur car n year or make, u might b able to buy those small touch-up paint (size similar to those ol poster color bottles) n cover d groove wit a caligraphy brush. Might not 100% b as good as new though.

small matter just DIY lah. It might not be perfect but at least it can prevent rust. If you are willing to pay around RM200 for repaint then go for professional car paint spray.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the input, actually I got those touch up paint already, but I never successfully get a smooth paint on it tho, whenever I'm applying those paint, sure the surface very rough and ugly, then over spill some more ==

I'm thinking of letting the expert do this as the scratch is at a very noticeable area, door at driver's side. May I know anyone can recommend me a shop that do this? Preferable PJ area.

Thanks yo! notworthy.gif
