even thought this is the mod of my mod, i post this in a new thread because this is my all new mod.
A all new design, all new material, all new hardware(ahem, maybe not tongue.gif ) all new feeling, and all new worklog.

user posted image

some introduction, my previous work are not being use as it feels not right. plasticky feels of the whole thing make me dislike my mod.
i was waiting for access to all new material, all new tools, and many more to continue my mod.
then, ideas strike as i taking my exam(or is me gone mad). i manage to grab some used aluminium casings some time ago(it has been ages), as u can see i use one of them in my previous mod.

this time i decide to chop my prize procession(2 of them, and mate them into one).

ok, now stop mumbling and start working(which i dose).

that is all stuff that i have done over 2 days blink.gif

ps: i cannot gurentee the completion of this mod as my new semester start in two weeks, but i will do my best to complete it.

happy modding till then.

Lol , you forgot about the HDD tray? sweat.gif

Normally would put the HDD Cage at the front case under the ODD.

lol. biggrin.gif

initially i plan to place the hdd at the bottom of the tray. but i didnt expected the motherboard tray to be so big. couple by the aluminium piece i place at the bottom of the tray, there goes my plan.

about ur idea of placement of the hdd. just one problem. i route my wires there. placing hdd tray over there would block the wires route and also my graphic card is 10.5".

unless i place the hdd at the bottom of the front part. which is the only way. just that need to figure out how to place it as the bottom piece of aluminium interfere it also.

great. my motherboard tray dose have a big clearance. but currently using 1tb 3.5" green hdd. will take even more clearance than currently what i have. will save ur idea till i upgrade to 2.5" hdd and watercooling.

nice one. thanks.

what MichaelJohn said will work, or just explain what it is and how it works, like hole cutter, thingies that fits in drill to cut holes...

i didnt heard the local hw store call it as blowhole if not mistaken.

yup. with the internal dangling there.
cable routing and finalizing will left for part 2 of this mod.

some the front usb and firewall port are not working. not sure how to solve. and the cable management are in a mess. also the hdd issue are not solve yet. will wait for purchasing 2.5" hdd later.

hopefully is part 2 i will be able to add simple watercooling or cosair h100 into this build while solving out the rest of the build.

yup. saw ur thread searching for Preatorian also. psu on top. if bottom, the full atx motherboard are not able to be fitted. matx board will be much easier.
if u plan to convert ur powermac using the easier way, the are much better ways to do it without cutting the case.
matx board is the only requirement. a single day work will do the job with not much task needed. google internet for powermac g5 or ask me for more information.
